7 Og dette er loven om skyldofferet: Det er høihellig.
2 På det sted hvor brennofferet slaktes, skal skyldofferet slaktes, og dets blod skal sprenges rundt om på alteret.
3 Og alt fettet skal ofres, både halen og fettet som dekker innvollene,
4 og begge nyrene med det fett som er på dem, ved lendene, og den store leverlapp; den skal tas ut sammen med nyrene.
5 Og presten skal brenne det på alteret som ildoffer til Herren; det er et skyldoffer.
6 Alt mannkjønn blandt prestene kan ete det; på et hellig sted skal det etes; det er høihellig.
7 Med skyldofferet skal det være likesom med syndofferet; det gjelder én lov for begge; den prest som gjør soning med det, ham skal det tilhøre.
8 Når en prest ofrer brennoffer for nogen, så skal huden av det brennoffer han har ofret, tilhøre den samme prest.
9 Og ethvert matoffer som bakes i ovn, eller som stekes i panne eller på helle, skal tilhøre den prest som ofrer det.
10 Og ethvert matoffer som er blandet med olje, eller som er tørt, skal høre alle Arons sønner til, den ene som den andre.
11 Og dette er loven om takkofferet som ofres til Herren:
12 Dersom nogen ofrer det til lovprisning, så skal han foruten slaktofferet som bæres frem til lovprisning, ofre usyrede kaker med olje i og usyrede brødleiver smurt med olje, og fint mel knadd til kaker med olje i.
13 Dette er den offergave han skal bære frem foruten det slaktoffer som bæres frem til takk og lovprisning, og dessuten syrede kaker.
14 Av dette offer skal han bære frem én kake av hvert slag som gave til Herren; det skal tilhøre presten som sprenger takkofferets blod på alteret.
15 Kjøttet av et takkoffer som bæres frem til lovprisning, skal etes på den dag det ofres; intet av det skal bli liggende til om morgenen.
16 Dersom nogens slaktoffer er et lovet offer eller et frivillig offer, skal det etes på den dag det ofres; men det som levnes, kan etes den næste dag.
17 Men hvad som enda blir tilovers av slaktofferets kjøtt, skal på den tredje dag brennes op med ild.
18 Om nogen på den tredje dag eter av takkofferets kjøtt, da har Herren ikke velbehag i offeret; det skal ikke regnes den som ofret det, til gode, det skal være en vederstyggelighet, og den som eter av det, gjør en misgjerning som han kommer til å bøte for.
19 Kjøtt[a] som kommer nær noget urent, skal ikke etes, det skal brennes op med ild; ellers kan alle som er rene, ete av kjøttet.
20 Men den som eter kjøtt av Herrens takkoffer mens det er noget urent på ham, han skal utryddes av sitt folk.
21 Og når nogen rører ved noget urent, enten det er et menneskes urenhet eller et urent dyr eller noget annet urent og vederstyggelig, og så eter av kjøttet av Herrens takkoffer, da skal han utryddes av sitt folk.
22 Og Herren talte til Moses og sa:
23 Tal til Israels barn og si: I skal ikke ete fett av okse eller får eller gjet.
24 Fettet av et selvdødt dyr eller av et sønderrevet dyr kan brukes til alle slags arbeid; men ete det må I ikke;
25 for hver den som eter fettet av noget dyr som det ofres ildoffer av til Herren, han skal utryddes av sitt folk.
26 Og blod skal I ikke ete, hverken av fugl eller fe, hvor I så bor.
27 Enhver som nogensinne eter blod, han skal utryddes av sitt folk.
28 Og Herren talte til Moses og sa:
29 Tal til Israels barn og si: Den som ofrer sitt takke-slaktoffer til Herren, han skal bære frem for Herren sin offergave av sitt takke-slaktoffer.
30 Med egne hender skal han bære frem Herrens ildoffer; både fettet og brystet skal han bære frem, og brystet skal svinges for Herrens åsyn.
31 Og presten skal brenne fettet på alteret; men brystet skal høre Aron og hans sønner til.
32 Og det høire lår skal I gi presten som gave av eders takkoffer.
33 Den av Arons sønner som ofrer takkoffer-blodet og fettet, han skal ha det høire lår som sin del;
34 for svinge-brystet og løfte-låret har jeg tatt fra Israels barn av deres takke-slaktoffer og gitt til Aron, presten, og til hans sønner som en evig rettighet de kan kreve av Israels barn.
35 Dette er Arons del og hans sønners del av Herrens ildoffer, som gis dem på den dag de føres frem for å tjene Herren som prester,
36 den del som Herren befalte skulde gis dem av Israels barn på den dag de salves, en evig rettighet, fra slekt til slekt.
37 Dette er loven om brennofferet, om matofferet og om syndofferet og om skyldofferet og om innvielsesofferet og om takkofferet,
38 den som Herren gav Moses på Sinai berg den dag han bød Israels barn å ofre Herren sine offer i Sinai ørken.
8 Og Herren talte til Moses og sa:
2 Hent Aron og hans sønner og ta deres klær og salvings-oljen og syndoffer-oksen og de to værer og kurven med de usyrede brød,
3 og kall hele menigheten sammen ved inngangen til sammenkomstens telt!
4 Og Moses gjorde som Herren bød ham; og menigheten samledes ved inngangen til sammenkomstens telt.
5 Og Moses sa til menigheten: Således har Herren befalt å gjøre.
6 Så førte Moses Aron og hans sønner frem og tvettet dem med vann.
7 Og han gav ham underkjortelen på og spente beltet om ham og klædde ham i overkjortelen og gav ham livkjortelen på og bandt livkjortelens belte om ham, og med det snørte han livkjortelen sammen.
8 Så satte han brystduken på ham, og la brystduken la han urim og tummim.
9 Og han satte huen på hans hode, og på dens forside satte han gullplaten, det hellige hodesmykke, således som Herren hadde befalt Moses.
10 Og Moses tok salvings-oljen og salvet tabernaklet og alt som var i det, og helliget det.
11 Og han sprengte av oljen syv ganger på alteret og salvet alteret og alt som hørte det til, og tvette-karet med sitt fotstykke, og således helliget han dem.
12 Og han helte av salvings-oljen på Arons hode og salvet ham og helliget ham.
13 Så førte Moses Arons sønner frem og klædde dem i underkjortler og spente belte om dem og bandt høie huer på dem, således som Herren hadde befalt Moses.
14 Så ledet han syndoffer-oksen frem, og Aron og hans sønner la sine hender på syndoffer-oksens hode.
15 Og de slaktet den, og Moses tok blodet og strøk det rundt om på alterets horn med sin finger og renset alteret for synd; og resten av blodet helte han ut ved alterets fot. Således gjorde han soning for det og helliget det.
16 Og han tok alt fettet som var på innvollene, og den store leverlapp og begge nyrene og fettet på dem, og Moses brente det på alteret.
17 Men oksen med dens hud og dens kjøtt og dens skarn brente han op med ild utenfor leiren, således som Herren hadde befalt Moses.
18 Så ledet han brennoffer-væren frem, og Aron og hans sønner la sine hender på værens hode.
19 Og de slaktet den, og Moses sprengte blodet rundt om på alteret.
20 Men væren selv delte de op i sine stykker, og Moses brente hodet og stykkene og fettet.
21 Og de tvettet innvollene og føttene med vann, og Moses brente hele væren på alteret; det var et brennoffer til en velbehagelig duft, det var et ildoffer for Herren, således som Herren hadde befalt Moses.
22 Så ledet han frem den andre vær, innvielses-væren, og Aron og hans sønner la sine hender på værens hode.
23 Og de slaktet den, og Moses tok av dens blod og strøk på Arons høire ørelapp og på tommelfingeren på hans høire hånd og på stortåen på hans høire fot.
24 Så førte de Arons sønner frem, og Moses strøk noget av blodet på deres høire ørelapp og på tommelfingeren på deres høire hånd og på stortåen på deres høire fot. Og Moses sprengte resten av blodet rundt om på alteret.
25 Og han tok fettet, både halen og alt fettet som var på innvollene, og den store leverlapp Og begge nyrene og fettet på dem og det høire lår;
26 og av kurven med de usyrede brød, som stod for Herrens åsyn, tok han en usyret kake og en oljekake og en brødleiv og la på fettstykkene og på det høire lår.
27 Alt dette la han i Arons hender og i hans sønners hender; og han svinget det for Herrens åsyn.
28 Så tok Moses det av deres hånd og brente det på alteret sammen med brennofferet; det var et innvielsesoffer til en velbehagelig duft, det var et ildoffer for Herren.
29 Derefter tok Moses brystet og svinget det for Herrens åsyn; det var den del Moses fikk av innvielses væren, således som Herren hadde befalt Moses.
30 Og Moses tok av salvingsoljen og av blodet som var på alteret, og sprengte på Aron og på hans klær og likeledes på hans sønner og deres klær; således helliget han Aron og hans klær og likeledes hans sønner og hans sønners klær.
31 Og Moses sa til Aron og hans sønner: Kok kjøttet ved inngangen til sammenkomstens telt og et det der sammen med brødet som er i innvielses-kurven, således som jeg har befalt og sagt: Aron og hans sønner skal ete det.
32 Men det som blir tilovers av kjøttet og av brødet, skal I brenne op med ild.
33 Og i syv dager skal I ikke gå bort fra inngangen til sammenkomstens telt - helt til den dag da eders innvielses-tid er til ende; for syv dager skal eders innvielse vare.
34 Som det er gjort idag, så har Herren befalt det skal gjøres også de andre dager, for å gjøre soning for eder.
35 I skal bli ved inngangen til sammenkomstens telt i syv dager, både dag og natt, og ta vare på det som Herren vil ha varetatt, så I ikke skal dø; for således er mig befalt.
36 Og Aron og hans sønner gjorde alt det som Herren hadde befalt ved Moses.

The Guilt Offering
7 “‘These are the regulations for the guilt offering,(A) which is most holy: 2 The guilt offering is to be slaughtered in the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, and its blood is to be splashed against the sides of the altar. 3 All its fat(B) shall be offered: the fat tail and the fat that covers the internal organs, 4 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which is to be removed with the kidneys.(C) 5 The priest shall burn them on the altar(D) as a food offering presented to the Lord. It is a guilt offering. 6 Any male in a priest’s family may eat it,(E) but it must be eaten in the sanctuary area; it is most holy.(F)
7 “‘The same law applies to both the sin offering[a](G) and the guilt offering:(H) They belong to the priest(I) who makes atonement with them.(J) 8 The priest who offers a burnt offering for anyone may keep its hide(K) for himself. 9 Every grain offering baked in an oven(L) or cooked in a pan(M) or on a griddle(N) belongs to the priest who offers it, 10 and every grain offering, whether mixed with olive oil or dry, belongs equally to all the sons of Aaron.
The Fellowship Offering
11 “‘These are the regulations for the fellowship offering anyone may present to the Lord:
12 “‘If they offer it as an expression of thankfulness, then along with this thank offering(O) they are to offer thick loaves(P) made without yeast(Q) and with olive oil mixed in, thin loaves(R) made without yeast and brushed with oil,(S) and thick loaves of the finest flour well-kneaded and with oil mixed in. 13 Along with their fellowship offering of thanksgiving(T) they are to present an offering with thick loaves of bread made with yeast.(U) 14 They are to bring one of each kind as an offering, a contribution to the Lord; it belongs to the priest who splashes the blood of the fellowship offering against the altar. 15 The meat of their fellowship offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the day it is offered; they must leave none of it till morning.(V)
16 “‘If, however, their offering is the result of a vow(W) or is a freewill offering,(X) the sacrifice shall be eaten on the day they offer it, but anything left over may be eaten on the next day.(Y) 17 Any meat of the sacrifice left over till the third day must be burned up.(Z) 18 If any meat of the fellowship offering(AA) is eaten on the third day, the one who offered it will not be accepted.(AB) It will not be reckoned(AC) to their credit, for it has become impure; the person who eats any of it will be held responsible.(AD)
19 “‘Meat that touches anything ceremonially unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned up. As for other meat, anyone ceremonially clean may eat it. 20 But if anyone who is unclean(AE) eats any meat of the fellowship offering belonging to the Lord, they must be cut off from their people.(AF) 21 Anyone who touches something unclean(AG)—whether human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean creature that moves along the ground[b]—and then eats any of the meat of the fellowship offering belonging to the Lord must be cut off from their people.’”
Eating Fat and Blood Forbidden
22 The Lord said to Moses, 23 “Say to the Israelites: ‘Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.(AH) 24 The fat of an animal found dead or torn by wild animals(AI) may be used for any other purpose, but you must not eat it. 25 Anyone who eats the fat of an animal from which a food offering may be[c] presented to the Lord must be cut off from their people. 26 And wherever you live, you must not eat the blood(AJ) of any bird or animal. 27 Anyone who eats blood(AK) must be cut off from their people.’”
The Priests’ Share
28 The Lord said to Moses, 29 “Say to the Israelites: ‘Anyone who brings a fellowship offering to the Lord is to bring part of it as their sacrifice to the Lord. 30 With their own hands they are to present the food offering to the Lord; they are to bring the fat, together with the breast, and wave the breast before the Lord as a wave offering.(AL) 31 The priest shall burn the fat on the altar,(AM) but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.(AN) 32 You are to give the right thigh of your fellowship offerings to the priest as a contribution.(AO) 33 The son of Aaron who offers the blood and the fat of the fellowship offering shall have the right thigh as his share. 34 From the fellowship offerings of the Israelites, I have taken the breast that is waved and the thigh(AP) that is presented and have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons(AQ) as their perpetual share from the Israelites.’”
35 This is the portion of the food offerings presented to the Lord that were allotted to Aaron and his sons on the day they were presented to serve the Lord as priests. 36 On the day they were anointed,(AR) the Lord commanded that the Israelites give this to them as their perpetual share for the generations to come.
37 These, then, are the regulations for the burnt offering,(AS) the grain offering,(AT) the sin offering, the guilt offering, the ordination offering(AU) and the fellowship offering, 38 which the Lord gave Moses(AV) at Mount Sinai(AW) in the Desert of Sinai on the day he commanded the Israelites to bring their offerings to the Lord.(AX)
The Ordination of Aaron and His Sons(AY)
8 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Bring Aaron and his sons,(AZ) their garments,(BA) the anointing oil,(BB) the bull for the sin offering,[d](BC) the two rams(BD) and the basket containing bread made without yeast,(BE) 3 and gather the entire assembly(BF) at the entrance to the tent of meeting.” 4 Moses did as the Lord commanded him, and the assembly gathered at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
5 Moses said to the assembly, “This is what the Lord has commanded to be done.(BG)” 6 Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water.(BH) 7 He put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him. He also fastened the ephod with a decorative waistband, which he tied around him.(BI) 8 He placed the breastpiece(BJ) on him and put the Urim and Thummim(BK) in the breastpiece. 9 Then he placed the turban(BL) on Aaron’s head and set the gold plate, the sacred emblem,(BM) on the front of it, as the Lord commanded Moses.(BN)
10 Then Moses took the anointing oil(BO) and anointed(BP) the tabernacle(BQ) and everything in it, and so consecrated them. 11 He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times, anointing the altar and all its utensils and the basin with its stand, to consecrate them.(BR) 12 He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed(BS) him to consecrate him.(BT) 13 Then he brought Aaron’s sons(BU) forward, put tunics(BV) on them, tied sashes around them and fastened caps on them, as the Lord commanded Moses.(BW)
14 He then presented the bull(BX) for the sin offering,(BY) and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.(BZ) 15 Moses slaughtered the bull and took some of the blood,(CA) and with his finger he put it on all the horns of the altar(CB) to purify the altar.(CC) He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. So he consecrated it to make atonement for it.(CD) 16 Moses also took all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and burned it on the altar. 17 But the bull with its hide and its flesh and its intestines(CE) he burned up outside the camp,(CF) as the Lord commanded Moses.
18 He then presented the ram(CG) for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. 19 Then Moses slaughtered the ram and splashed the blood against the sides of the altar. 20 He cut the ram into pieces and burned the head, the pieces and the fat.(CH) 21 He washed the internal organs and the legs with water and burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.
22 He then presented the other ram, the ram for the ordination,(CI) and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.(CJ) 23 Moses slaughtered the ram and took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s right ear, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.(CK) 24 Moses also brought Aaron’s sons forward and put some of the blood on the lobes of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Then he splashed blood against the sides of the altar.(CL) 25 After that, he took the fat(CM), the fat tail, all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, both kidneys and their fat and the right thigh. 26 And from the basket of bread made without yeast, which was before the Lord, he took one thick loaf, one thick loaf with olive oil mixed in, and one thin loaf,(CN) and he put these on the fat portions and on the right thigh. 27 He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons, and they waved them before the Lord(CO) as a wave offering. 28 Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar on top of the burnt offering as an ordination offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord. 29 Moses also took the breast, which was his share of the ordination ram,(CP) and waved it before the Lord as a wave offering, as the Lord commanded Moses.
30 Then Moses(CQ) took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood from the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments(CR) and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated(CS) Aaron and his garments and his sons and their garments.
31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, “Cook the meat at the entrance to the tent of meeting(CT) and eat it there with the bread from the basket of ordination offerings, as I was commanded: ‘Aaron and his sons are to eat it.’ 32 Then burn up the rest of the meat and the bread. 33 Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed, for your ordination will last seven days.(CU) 34 What has been done today was commanded by the Lord(CV) to make atonement for you. 35 You must stay at the entrance to the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and do what the Lord requires,(CW) so you will not die; for that is what I have been commanded.”
36 So Aaron and his sons did everything the Lord commanded through Moses.
