14 Your New Moon(A) feasts and your appointed festivals(B)
    I hate with all my being.(C)
They have become a burden to me;(D)
    I am weary(E) of bearing them.
15 When you spread out your hands(F) in prayer,
    I hide(G) my eyes from you;
even when you offer many prayers,
    I am not listening.(H)

Your hands(I) are full of blood!(J)

16 Wash(K) and make yourselves clean.
    Take your evil deeds out of my sight;(L)
    stop doing wrong.(M)
17 Learn to do right;(N) seek justice.(O)
    Defend the oppressed.[a](P)
Take up the cause of the fatherless;(Q)
    plead the case of the widow.(R)

18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,”(S)
    says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
    they shall be as white as snow;(T)
though they are red as crimson,
    they shall be like wool.(U)
