¹⁴ Sing, Daughter Zion;^(A)
    shout aloud,^(B) Israel!
Be glad and rejoice^(C) with all your heart,
    Daughter Jerusalem!
¹⁵ The Lord has taken away your punishment,
    he has turned back your enemy.
The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you;^(D)
    never again will you fear^(E) any harm.^(F)
16 On that day
    they will say to Jerusalem,
“Do not fear, Zion;
    do not let your hands hang limp.^(G)
17 The Lord your God is with you,
    the Mighty Warrior who saves.^(H)
He will take great delight^(I) in you;
    in his love he will no longer rebuke you,^(J)
    but will rejoice over you with singing.”^(K)

³ Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One;^(A)
    you are the one Israel praises.^[a](B)

⁴ Shout for joy^(A) to the Lord, all the earth,
    burst into jubilant song with music;
⁵ make music to the Lord with the harp,^(B)
    with the harp and the sound of singing,^(C)
6 with trumpets^(D) and the blast of the ram’s horn^(E)—
    shout for joy^(F) before the Lord, the King.^(G)

⁷ Let the sea^(H) resound, and everything in it,
    the world, and all who live in it.^(I)
8 Let the rivers clap their hands,^(J)
    let the mountains^(K) sing together for joy;
⁹ let them sing before the Lord,
    for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
    and the peoples with equity.^(L)

Praise God in his sanctuary;^(B)
    praise him in his mighty heavens.^(C)
2 Praise him for his acts of power;^(D)
    praise him for his surpassing greatness.^(E)
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,^(F)
    praise him with the harp and lyre,^(G)
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing,^(H)
    praise him with the strings^(I) and pipe,^(J)
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,^(K)
    praise him with resounding cymbals.

⁶ Let everything^(L) that has breath praise the Lord.
