¹⁹ At that time I will deal
    with all who oppressed^(A) you.
I will rescue the lame;
    I will gather the exiles.^(B)
I will give them praise^(C) and honor
    in every land where they have suffered shame.

“Yes, captives^(A) will be taken from warriors,^(B)
    and plunder retrieved from the fierce;^(C)
I will contend with those who contend with you,^(D)
    and your children I will save.^(E)
26 I will make your oppressors^(F) eat^(G) their own flesh;
    they will be drunk on their own blood,^(H) as with wine.
Then all mankind will know^(I)
    that I, the Lord, am your Savior,^(J)
    your Redeemer,^(K) the Mighty One of Jacob.^(L)”

¹⁴ The children of your oppressors^(A) will come bowing before you;
    all who despise you will bow down^(B) at your feet
and will call you the City^(C) of the Lord,
    Zion^(D) of the Holy One^(E) of Israel.

¹⁶ “‘But all who devour^(A) you will be devoured;
    all your enemies will go into exile.^(B)
Those who plunder^(C) you will be plundered;
    all who make spoil of you I will despoil.

¹⁵ The Lord has taken away your punishment,
    he has turned back your enemy.
The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you;^(A)
    never again will you fear^(B) any harm.^(C)

“I will gather the lame;^(A)
    I will assemble the exiles^(B)
    and those I have brought to grief.^(C)
7 I will make the lame my remnant,^(D)
    those driven away a strong nation.^(E)
The Lord will rule over them in Mount Zion^(F)
    from that day and forever.^(G)
