The Day of the Lord
14 A day of the Lord is coming when the things of much worth taken from you will be divided among you. 2 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle. The city will be taken. The houses will be robbed. The women will be taken against their will. And half of the city will be taken away to a strange land. But the rest of the people will not be taken away from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, in front of Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives will be divided in two from east to west by a very large valley. Half the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. 5 You will run away by the valley of My mountains, for it will go as far as Azel. You will run away just as you did when the earth shook in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with Him. 6 On that day there will be no light. The stars of heaven will be made dark. 7 It will be a special day which is known to the Lord. It will not be day or night. For when evening comes, there will be light. 8 On that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem. Half of them will flow toward the sea in the east. The other half will flow toward the sea in the west. They will flow in summer and in winter.
9 The Lord will be King over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one. 10 The whole land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem will rise and stay on its land from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to where the king’s wine is made. 11 People will live in it, and there will be no more curse. The people of Jerusalem will live without fear.
12 Now this is how the Lord will punish all the people who have gone to war against Jerusalem. Their flesh will waste away while they stand on their feet. Their eyes will waste away in their faces, and their tongues will waste away in their mouths. 13 On that day the Lord will send much fear upon them. They will take hold of one another’s hand, and the hand of one will be raised against the hand of another. 14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the riches of all the nations around will be gathered, much gold and silver and clothing. 15 The same kind of punishment will come upon the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey, and all the cattle in those camps.
The Nations Worship the King
16 Then everyone who is left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go each year to worship the King, the Lord of All, and to keep the Special Supper of Tents. 17 If any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of All, they will have no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt does not go up to worship, then they will have no rain. The Lord will punish them as He punishes the nations that do not go up to keep the Special Supper of Tents.
19 This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to keep the Special Supper of Tents. 20 On that day, “Holy to the Lord,” will be written on the bells of the horses. And the cooking pots in the house of the Lord will be like the holy dishes in front of the altar. 21 Every cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the Lord of All. And all who come bringing gifts in worship will take some of the pots and cook in them. On that day there will no longer be one who buys and sells in the house of the Lord of All.

14 Lo, a day hath come to Jehovah, And divided hath been thy spoil in thy midst.
2 And I have gathered all the nations unto Jerusalem to battle, And captured hath been the city, And spoiled have been the houses, And the women are lain with, Gone forth hath half the city in a removal, And the remnant of the people are not cut off from the city.
3 And gone forth hath Jehovah, And He hath fought against those nations, As in the day of His fighting in a day of conflict.
4 And stood have His feet, in that day, On the mount of Olives, That [is] before Jerusalem eastward, And cleft hath been the mount of Olives at its midst, To the east, and to the west, a very great valley, And removed hath the half of the mount towards the north. And its half towards the south.
5 And ye have fled [to] the valley of My mountains, For join doth the valley of the mountains to Azal, And ye have fled as ye fled before the shaking, In the days of Uzziah king of Judah, And come in hath Jehovah my God, All holy ones [are] with Thee.
6 And it hath come to pass, in that day, The precious light is not, it is dense darkness,
7 And there hath been one day, It is known to Jehovah, not day nor night, And it hath been at evening-time -- there is light.
8 And it hath come to pass, in that day, Go forth do living waters from Jerusalem, Half of them unto the eastern sea, And half of them unto the western sea, In summer and in winter it is.
9 And Jehovah hath become king over all the land, In that day there is one Jehovah, and His name one.
10 Changed is all the land as a plain, From Gebo to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, And she hath been high, and hath dwelt in her place, Even from the gate of Benjamin To the place of the first gate, unto the front gate, And from the tower of Hananeel, Unto the wine-vats of the king.
11 And they have dwelt in her, And destruction is no more, And Jerusalem hath dwelt confidently.
12 And this is the plague with which Jehovah Doth plague all the peoples who have warred against Jerusalem, He hath consumed away its flesh, And it is standing on its feet, And its eyes are consumed in their holes, And its tongue is consumed in their mouth.
13 And it hath come to pass, in that day, A great destruction [from] Jehovah is among them, And they have seized each the hand of his neighbour, And gone up hath his hand against the hand of his neighbour.
14 And also Judah is fought with in Jerusalem, And gathered hath been the force of all the nations round about, Gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
15 And so is the plague of the horse, of the mule, Of the camel, and of the ass, And of all the cattle that are in these camps, As this plague.
16 And it hath come to pass, Every one who hath been left of all the nations, Who are coming in against Jerusalem, They have also gone up from year to year, To bow themselves to the King, Jehovah of Hosts, And to celebrate the feast of the booths.
17 And it hath come to pass, That he who doth not go up of the families of the land unto Jerusalem, To bow himself to the King, Jehovah of Hosts, Even on them there is no shower.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, nor come in, Then not on them is the plague With which Jehovah doth plague the nations That go not up to celebrate the feast of booths.
19 This is the punishment of the sin of Egypt, And the punishment of the sin of all the nations, That go not up to celebrate the feast of booths.
20 In that day there is on bells of the horse, `Holy to Jehovah,' And the pots in the house of Jehovah Have been as bowls before the altar.
21 And every pot in Jerusalem, and in Judah, Have been holy to Jehovah of Hosts, And all those sacrificing have come in, And have taken of them, and boiled in them, And there is no merchant any more in the house of Jehovah of Hosts in that day!

14 Siehe, es kommt ein Tag für den Herrn, da wird man deine Beute verteilen in deiner Mitte!
2 Da werde ich alle Heidenvölker bei Jerusalem zum Krieg versammeln; und die Stadt wird erobert, die Häuser werden geplündert und die Frauen geschändet werden; und die Hälfte der Stadt muss in die Gefangenschaft ziehen; der Überrest des Volkes aber soll nicht aus der Stadt ausgerottet werden.
3 Aber der Herr wird ausziehen und gegen jene Heidenvölker kämpfen, wie [damals] am Tag seines Kampfes, am Tag der Schlacht.
4 Und seine Füße werden an jenem Tag auf dem Ölberg stehen, der vor Jerusalem nach Osten zu liegt; und der Ölberg wird sich in der Mitte spalten nach Osten und nach Westen hin zu einem sehr großen Tal, und die eine Hälfte des Berges wird nach Norden zurückweichen, die andere nach Süden.
5 Da werdet ihr in das Tal meiner Berge fliehen; denn das Tal zwischen den Bergen wird bis nach Azel reichen; und ihr werdet fliehen, wie ihr geflohen seid vor dem Erdbeben in den Tagen Ussijas, des Königs von Juda. Dann wird der Herr, mein Gott, kommen, und alle Heiligen mit dir![a]
6 Und es wird geschehen an jenem Tag, da wird es kein Licht geben; die glänzenden [Gestirne] werden sich verfinstern[b].
7 Und es wird ein einziger Tag sein — er ist dem Herrn bekannt —, weder Tag noch Nacht; und es wird geschehen: Zur Abendzeit wird es licht werden.
8 Und es wird geschehen an jenem Tag, da werden lebendige Wasser von Jerusalem ausfließen, die eine Hälfte in das östliche, die andere in das westliche Meer; Sommer und Winter wird es so bleiben.
9 Und der Herr wird König sein über die ganze Erde. An jenem Tag wird der Herr der einzige sein und sein Name der einzige.
10 Das ganze Land von Geba bis Rimmon, südlich von Jerusalem, wird sich verwandeln wie die Arava, und [Jerusalem][c] wird erhöht sein und an seiner Stätte bewohnt werden, vom Tor Benjamin bis an die Stelle des ersten Tors, bis an das Ecktor, und vom Turm Hananeel bis zu den Keltern des Königs.
11 Und sie werden darin wohnen; und es wird keinen Bannfluch mehr geben, und Jerusalem wird sicher wohnen.
12 Das aber wird die Plage sein, mit welcher der Herr alle Völker schlagen wird, die gegen Jerusalem Krieg geführt haben: ihr Fleisch wird verfaulen, während sie noch auf ihren Füßen stehen; ihre Augen werden verfaulen in ihren Höhlen, und ihre Zunge wird verfaulen in ihrem Mund.
13 Und es wird geschehen an jenem Tag, da wird eine große Verwirrung vom Herrn über sie kommen, sodass einer die Hand des anderen ergreifen und jeder gegen seinen Nächsten die Hand erheben wird.
14 Aber auch Juda wird kämpfen bei Jerusalem, und es wird der Reichtum aller Heidenvölker ringsum zusammengerafft werden, Gold und Silber und Kleider in großer Menge.
15 Die gleiche Plage wird auch den Pferden, Maultieren, Kamelen und Eseln, ja, allem Vieh widerfahren, das in jenen Heerlagern sein wird.
Die Übriggebliebenen der Heidenvölker werden in Jerusalem den Herrn anbeten
16 Und es wird geschehen, dass alle Übriggebliebenen von all den Heidenvölkern, die gegen Jerusalem gezogen sind, Jahr für Jahr heraufkommen werden, um den König, den Herrn der Heerscharen, anzubeten und das Laubhüttenfest zu feiern.
17 Und es wird geschehen: Dasjenige von den Geschlechtern der Erde, das nicht nach Jerusalem hinaufziehen wird, um den König, den Herrn der Heerscharen, anzubeten, über dieses wird kein Regen fallen.
18 Und wenn das Geschlecht der Ägypter nicht heraufzieht und nicht kommt, dann wird er auch über sie nicht fallen. Das wird die Plage sein, mit welcher der Herr die Heidenvölker schlagen wird, die nicht heraufkommen wollen, um das Laubhüttenfest zu feiern.
19 Das wird die Strafe für die Ägypter und die Strafe für alle Heidenvölker sein, die nicht hinaufziehen wollen, um das Laubhüttenfest zu feiern.
20 An jenem Tag wird auf den Schellen der Pferde stehen: »Heilig dem Herrn«, und die Kochtöpfe im Haus des Herrn werden sein wie die Opferschalen vor dem Altar.
21 Es wird auch jeder Kochtopf in Jerusalem und in Juda dem Herrn der Heerscharen heilig sein, sodass alle, die opfern wollen, kommen werden und davon nehmen und darin kochen. Und es wird keinen Kanaaniter[d] mehr im Haus des Herrn der Heerscharen geben an jenem Tag.

14 看啊，耶和華的日子快到了，那時你那裡的財物必被搶掠、瓜分。 2 因為我必招聚萬國去攻打耶路撒冷。那時，城必失守，房屋必被洗劫，婦女必被玷污。半城的人必被擄去，剩下的人必留在城中，不會被剷除。 3 那時，耶和華必出來與列國爭戰，像從前爭戰的日子一樣。 4 到那天，祂的腳必踏在耶路撒冷東面的橄欖山上，這山必從東至西分成兩半，一半向北移，一半向南移，中間形成極大的山谷。 5 你們要從我的這山谷逃跑，因為山谷必延伸到亞薩。你們必像猶大王烏西雅年間的人躲避大地震一樣逃跑。我的上帝耶和華必帶著所有的聖者降臨。 6 到那天，將沒有光、嚴寒和冰霜。 7 那將是奇特的日子，沒有晝夜之分，晚上仍然有光，只有上帝知道那日何時來臨。
