⁵ And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from ^(A)the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

^27 (A)For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be ^(B)the coming of the Son of Man.

³⁰ Then ^(A)will appear in heaven ^(B)the sign of the Son of Man, and then ^(C)all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and ^(D)they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven ^(E)with power and great glory.

²⁰ And the beast was captured, and with it ^(A)the false prophet ^(B)who in its presence^[a] had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who ^(C)worshipped its image. These two were ^(D)thrown alive into the lake of ^(E)fire that burns with sulphur.

Judgement Before the Great White Throne

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence ^(A)earth and sky fled away, and ^(B)no place was found for them. ¹² And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and ^(C)books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is ^(D)the book of life. And ^(E)the dead were judged by what was written in the books, ^(F)according to what they had done. ¹³ And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, ^(G)Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, ^(H)according to what they had done. ¹⁴ Then ^(I)Death and Hades ^(J)were thrown into the lake of fire. This is ^(K)the second death, the lake of fire. ¹⁵ And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, ^(L)he was thrown into the lake of fire.

^8 (A)But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, ^(B)their portion will be in ^(C)the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is ^(D)the second death.”
