⁷ The first sounded, and there came ^(A)hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and ^(B)a third of the earth was burned up, and ^(C)a third of the ^(D)trees were burned up, and all the green ^(E)grass was burned up.

⁸ The second angel sounded, and something like a great ^(F)mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea; and ^(G)a third of the ^(H)sea became blood, ⁹ and ^(I)a third of the creatures which were in the sea ^[a]and had life, died; and a third of the ^(J)ships were destroyed.

¹⁰ The third angel sounded, and a great star ^(K)fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a ^(L)third of the rivers and on the ^(M)springs of waters. ¹¹ The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a ^(N)third of the waters became ^(O)wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

¹² The fourth angel sounded, and a ^(P)third of the ^(Q)sun and a third of the ^(R)moon and a ^(S)third of the ^(T)stars were struck, so that a ^(U)third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a ^(V)third of it, and the night in the same way.

¹⁵ And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were ^(A)released, so that they would kill a ^(B)third of ^[a]mankind.

¹⁸ A ^(A)third of ^[a]mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the ^(B)fire and the smoke and the ^[b]brimstone which proceeded out of their mouths.

⁴ And his tail *swept away a ^(A)third of the stars of heaven and ^(B)threw them to the earth. And the ^(C)dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth ^(D)he might devour her child.
