^6 (A)“On that day I will make the clans of Judah ^(B)like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And ^(C)they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while ^(D)Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.

^8 (A)On that day ^(B)the Lord will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that ^(C)the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, ^(D)like the angel of the Lord, going before them.

² And you shall make ^(A)horns for it on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and ^(B)you shall overlay it with bronze.

¹³ He is clothed in ^(A)a robe dipped in^[a] blood, and the name by which he is called is ^(B)The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies of heaven, ^(C)arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, ^(D)were following him on white horses. ^15 (E)From his mouth comes a sharp sword ^(F)with which to strike down the nations, and ^(G)he will rule^[b] them with a rod of iron. ^(H)He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. ¹⁶ On his robe and on his thigh ^(I)he has a name written, ^(J)King of kings and Lord of lords.

¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to ^(K)all the birds that fly directly overhead, ^(L)“Come, gather for ^(M)the great supper of God, ^18 (N)to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave,^[c] both small and great.” ¹⁹ And I saw ^(O)the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies ^(P)gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army. ²⁰ And the beast was captured, and with it ^(Q)the false prophet ^(R)who in its presence^[d] had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who ^(S)worshiped its image. These two were ^(T)thrown alive into the lake of ^(U)fire that burns with sulfur. ²¹ And the rest were slain by the sword ^(V)that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and ^(W)all the birds were gorged with their flesh.

^25 (A)Then the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering and pour out the rest of its blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering.
