16 (A)Onkuume, Ayi Katonda,
kubanga ggwe buddukiro bwange.
2 (B)Nagamba Mukama nti, “Ggwe Mukama wange,
ebirungi byonna bye nnina biva gy’oli.”
3 (C)Abatukuvu abali mu nsi be njagala
era mu bo mwe nsanyukira.
4 (D)Ennaku y’abo abagoberera bakatonda abalala
yeeyongera.
Siriwaayo ssaddaaka zaabwe ez’omusaayi,[a]
wadde okusinza bakatonda baabwe.
5 (E)Mukama, ggwe mugabo gwange,
era ggw’oliisa obulamu bwange; era ggw’olabirira ebyange.
6 (F)Ensalo zange ziri mu bifo ebisanyusa,
ddala ddala omugabo omulungi.
7 (G)Nnaatenderezanga Mukama kubanga annuŋŋamya
ne mu kiro ayigiriza omutima gwange.
8 (H)Nkulembeza Mukama buli kiseera,
era ali ku mukono gwange ogwa ddyo,
siinyeenyezebwenga.
9 (I)Noolwekyo omutima gwange gusanyuka, n’akamwa kange ne kajaguza;
era n’omubiri gwange gunaabeeranga mu mirembe.
10 (J)Kubanga omwoyo gwange toliguleka magombe,
wadde okukkiriza Omutukuvu wo okuvunda.
11 (K)Olindaga ekkubo ery’obulamu;
w’oli we wanaabanga essanyu erijjuvu,
era mu mukono gwo ogwa ddyo nga mwe muli ebisanyusa emirembe gyonna.

16 Preserve[a] me, O God, for in You I put my trust.
2 O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
(B)My goodness is nothing apart from You.”
3 As for the saints who are on the earth,
“They are the excellent ones, in (C)whom is all my delight.”
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god;
Their drink offerings of (D)blood I will not offer,
(E)Nor take up their names on my lips.
5 O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You [b]maintain my lot.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Yes, I have a good inheritance.
7 I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel;
My [c]heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
8 (F)I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will [d]rest in hope.
10 (G)For You will not leave my soul in [e]Sheol,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to [f]see corruption.
11 You will show me the (H)path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

16 Bɔ me ho ban, O Onyankopɔn; migye wo di sɛ me guankɔbea. 2 Meka kyerɛ Awurade se, “M’awurade ne wo; nneɛma a mewɔ nyinaa fi wo nkyɛn.” 3 Awurade nkurɔfo a wɔyɛ pɛ wɔ gyidi mu no, wɔn na m’ani gye sɛ me ne wɔn bɛtena. 4 Wɔn a wokodi anyame foforo akyi no twe ɔhaw brɛ wɔn ho. Merenkɔka wɔn afɔrebɔ ho, na merensom wɔn anyame nso.
5 Wo, Awurade, yɛ nea mewɔ nyinaa, na woma me nea ehia me nyinaa; me daakye asetena hyɛ wo nsa. 6 W’akyɛde a wode ma me yɛ nwonwa na ɛyɛ nneɛma pa nso. 7 Mekamfo Awurade efisɛ, ɔkyerɛ me kwan, na edu anadwo a m’atiboa bɔ me kɔkɔ.
8 Minim sɛ Awurade ka me ho daa. Ɔbɛn me, na biribiara rentumi mpusuw me. 9 Ɛno nti, mewɔ aseda ne anigye mu. Na mete nka sɛ mewɔ guankɔbea. 10 Efisɛ, wobɔ me ho ban fi owu tumi ase, na worennyaa nea wodɔ no mma ɔnkɔ asaman. 11 Wobɛkyerɛ me kwan a ɛkɔ nkwa mu. Hu a mihu wo no hyɛ me anigye ne anika a ɛnsa da.
