Wisdom of Ben Sira 21:19-21

¹⁹ Instruction is like fetters on the feet to the fool,
    and like a manacle on his right hand.
²⁰ A fool laughs at the top of his voice,
    but a prudent man smiles quietly.
²¹ Like an ornament of gold is instruction to a sensible man,
    like a bracelet on his right arm.
