Wisdom 19:10-12

New Catholic Bible

¹⁰ For they still recalled the events of their exile,
    how instead of producing animals the land brought forth gnats,
    and instead of fish the river disgorged swarms of frogs.
¹¹ Later they were introduced to a new kind of bird
    when, moved by appetite, they demanded savory food,
¹²     and quail came up from the sea to satisfy them.
