  1. Wisdom 4:10 These verses contain allusions to Enoch, who was young in terms of the life-span of the Patriarchs (Gen 5:21-24) and Lot (Gen 19:10-11; 2 Pet 2:7-8). Taken up: the righteous are “taken up” like Enoch (Gen 5:24), Elijah (2 Ki 2:1, 11), and Christ at the Ascension (Acts 1:11, 22).
