70 Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin giải cứu tôi.
Lạy CHÚA, xin mau mau giúp đỡ tôi.
2 Nguyện những kẻ tìm hại mạng sống tôi
Bị hổ thẹn và bối rối.
Nguyện những kẻ muốn tàn hại tôi
Phải rút lui và nhục nhã.
3 Nguyện những kẻ cười nhạo: ha! ha!
Phải thối lui vì sự hổ thẹn của chúng.
4 Nguyện tất cả những người tìm kiếm Ngài
Được hân hoan và vui mừng trong Ngài.
Những người yêu mến sự cứu rỗi Ngài luôn luôn tung hô:
Đức Chúa Trời vĩ đại thay.
5 Còn tôi thì yếu kém và cùng khốn,
Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin mau mau đến cùng tôi.
Ngài là Đấng giúp đỡ và giải cứu tôi.
Lạy CHÚA, xin chớ chậm trễ.

70 To the Overseer, by David. -- `To cause to remember.' O God, to deliver me, O Jehovah, for my help, haste.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded Who are seeking my soul, Let them be turned backward and blush Who are desiring my evil.
3 Let them turn back because of their shame, Who are saying, `Aha, aha.'
4 Let all those seeking Thee joy and be glad in Thee, And let those loving Thy salvation Say continually, `God is magnified.'
5 And I [am] poor and needy, O God, haste to me, My help and my deliverer [art] Thou, O Jehovah, tarry Thou not!

1 Hasten, O God, to save me;
come quickly, Lord, to help me.(B)
2 May those who want to take my life(C)
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
be turned back in disgrace.(D)
3 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”(E)
turn back because of their shame.
4 But may all who seek you(F)
rejoice and be glad(G) in you;
may those who long for your saving help always say,
“The Lord is great!”(H)
