¹⁵ Rather, ^(A)speaking the truth in love, we are to ^(B)grow up in every way into him who is ^(C)the head, into Christ, ^16 (D)from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, ^(E)when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

^9 (A)So Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem. He took away the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king's house. He took away everything. He also took away ^(B)the shields of gold that Solomon had made, ¹⁰ and King Rehoboam made in their place shields of bronze and committed them to the hands of the officers of the guard, who kept the door of the king's house. ¹¹ And as often as the king went into the house of the Lord, the guard came and carried them and brought them back to the guardroom.

¹⁵ King Solomon made 200 large shields of beaten gold; 600 shekels^[a] of beaten gold went into each shield. ¹⁶ And he made 300 shields of beaten gold; ^(A)300 shekels of gold went into each shield; and the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.
