Ang Salita ng Diyos
5 Kayo ay namuhay sa lupang ito, sa karangyaan at pagpapasasa. Binusog ninyo ang inyong mga puso tulad sa araw ng katayan. 6 Inyong hinatulan at pinatay ang taong matuwid. Hindi niya kayo tinutulan.
Pagtitiis sa Paghihirap
7 Mga kapatid ko, magtiis kayo hanggang sa pagbabalik ng Panginoon. Narito, ang magsasaka ay naghihintay sa mahalagang bunga ng lupa. Hinihintay niya ito ng may pagtitiyaga hanggang sa matanggap nito ang una at huling ulan.

5 You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves(A) in the day of slaughter.[a](B) 6 You have condemned and murdered(C) the innocent one,(D) who was not opposing you.
Patience in Suffering
7 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming.(E) See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting(F) for the autumn and spring rains.(G)
