A glória de Deus é manifestada na criação e na conservação de todas as coisas
104 Bendize, ó minha alma, ao Senhor! Senhor, Deus meu, tu és magnificentíssimo; estás vestido de glória e de majestade. 2 Ele cobre-se de luz como de uma veste, estende os céus como uma cortina. 3 Põe nas águas os vigamentos das suas câmaras, faz das nuvens o seu carro e anda sobre as asas do vento. 4 Faz dos ventos seus mensageiros, dos seus ministros, um fogo abrasador. 5 Lançou os fundamentos da terra, para que não vacile em tempo algum. 6 Tu a cobriste com o abismo, como com uma veste; as águas estavam sobre os montes; 7 à tua repreensão, fugiram; à voz do teu trovão, se apressaram. 8 Subiram aos montes, desceram aos vales, até ao lugar que para elas fundaste. 9 Limite lhes traçaste, que não ultrapassarão, para que não tornem mais a cobrir a terra.
10 Tu, que nos vales fazes rebentar nascentes que correm entre os montes. 11 Dão de beber a todos os animais do campo; os jumentos monteses matam com elas a sua sede. 12 Junto delas habitam as aves do céu, cantando entre os ramos. 13 Ele rega os montes desde as suas câmaras; a terra farta-se do fruto das suas obras. 14 Ele faz crescer a erva para os animais e a verdura, para o serviço do homem, para que tire da terra o alimento 15 e o vinho que alegra o seu coração; ele faz reluzir o seu rosto com o azeite e o pão, que fortalece o seu coração. 16 Satisfazem-se as árvores do Senhor, os cedros do Líbano que ele plantou, 17 onde as aves se aninham; quanto à cegonha, a sua casa é nas faias. 18 Os altos montes são um refúgio para as cabras monteses, e as rochas, para os coelhos.
19 Designou a lua para as estações; o sol conhece o seu ocaso. 20 Ordenas a escuridão, e faz-se noite, na qual saem todos os animais da selva. 21 Os leõezinhos bramam pela presa e de Deus buscam o seu sustento. 22 Nasce o sol e logo se recolhem e se deitam nos seus covis. 23 Então, sai o homem para a sua lida e para o seu trabalho, até à tarde.
24 Ó Senhor, quão variadas são as tuas obras! Todas as coisas fizeste com sabedoria; cheia está a terra das tuas riquezas. 25 Tal é este vasto e espaçoso mar, onde se movem seres inumeráveis, animais pequenos e grandes. 26 Ali passam os navios; e o leviatã que formaste para nele folgar. 27 Todos esperam de ti que lhes dês o seu sustento em tempo oportuno. 28 Dando-lho tu, eles o recolhem; abres a tua mão, e enchem-se de bens. 29 Escondes o teu rosto, e ficam perturbados; se lhes tiras a respiração, morrem e voltam ao próprio pó. 30 Envias o teu Espírito, e são criados, e assim renovas a face da terra.
31 A glória do Senhor seja para sempre! Alegre-se o Senhor em suas obras! 32 Olhando ele para a terra, ela treme; tocando nos montes, logo fumegam. 33 Cantarei ao Senhor enquanto eu viver; cantarei louvores ao meu Deus, enquanto existir. 34 A minha meditação a seu respeito será suave; eu me alegrarei no Senhor. 35 Desapareçam da terra os pecadores, e os ímpios não sejam mais.
Bendize, ó minha alma, ao Senhor. Louvai ao Senhor.

Господи, Боже мой, Ти си твърде велик,
с блясък и величие си облечен –
2 (B)Ти, Който се обличаш със светлината като с дреха
и простираш небето като завеса;
3 (C)Който издигаш високите Си обиталища над водите,
правиш облаците Своя колесница
и вървиш с крилете на вятъра;
4 (D)Който правиш ангелите Си силни като ветровете
и слугите Си – като огнения пламък;
5 (E)Който си положил земята на основата ѝ,
за да не се поклати за вечни времена.
6 (F)Покрил си я с морето[a] като с дреха;
водите застанаха над планините.
7 (G)От Твоето смъмряне те побегнаха,
от гласа на гърма Ти се впуснаха в бяг.
8 (H)Издигнаха се планините, снишаваха се долините
на мястото, което беше определил за тях.
9 (I)Положил си граница на водите, за да не могат да преминат,
нито да се върнат пак да покрият земята.
10 Ти си, Който изпращаш извори в доловете,
за да текат между планините.
11 Напояват всички полски зверове;
с тях дивите осли утоляват жаждата си;
12 при тях небесните птици живеят
и пеят между клоните.
13 (J)Ти си, Който поиш планините от високите Си обиталища,
така че от плода на Твоите дела се насища земята;
14 (K)правиш да никне трева за добитъка
и зеленчуци, необходими на човека,
за да изважда храна от земята,
15 (L)и вино, което весели сърцето на човека
и прави да лъщи лицето му повече от дървено масло,
и хляб, който укрепва сърцето на човека.
16 (M)Великолепните[b] дървета се наситиха,
ливанските кедри, които Господ е насадил,
17 където птиците си свиват гнезда
и елхите са жилище на щъркела;
18 високите планини са дом на дивите кози,
канарите са прибежище на дивите зайци.
19 (N)Той е определил луната, за да показва времената;
слънцето знае кога да залязва.
20 (O)Спускаш тъмнина и настава нощ,
когато всичките горски зверове се разхождат.
21 (P)Лъвчетата реват за плячка
и търсят от Бога храна.
22 Изгрее ли слънцето, те си отиват
и лягат в рововете си.
23 (Q)Човек излиза на работата си
и се труди до вечерта.
24 (R)Колко са разнообразни Твоите дела, Господи!
С мъдрост си направил всички тях;
земята е пълна с Твоите творения.
25 Ето голямото и просторно море,
където има безброй пълзящи животни –
животни малки и големи.
26 (S)Там плават корабите;
там е и чудовището[c], което си създал да играе в него.
27 (T)Всички те от Теб очакват
да им дадеш навреме храната.
28 Каквото им даваш, те го събират;
отваряш ръката Си и те се насищат с блага,
29 (U)скриеш ли лицето Си, те се смущават;
прибираш ли дъха им, те умират
и се връщат в пръстта си.
30 (V)Изпращаш ли Духа Си, те се създават;
и подновяваш лицето на земята.
31 (W)Нека трае довека славата Господня;
нека се радва в делата Си Господ,
32 (X)Който, когато гледа към земята, тя трепери,
когато се допира до планините, те димят.
33 (Y)Ще пея на Господа, докато съм жив;
ще славословя моя Бог, докато съществувам.
34 Да Му бъде приятно моето размишление;
аз ще се веселя в Господа.
35 (Z)Нека се довършат грешните от земята
и нечестивите да ги няма вече.

Praise to the Sovereign Lord for His Creation and Providence(A)
104 Bless (B)the Lord, O my soul!
O Lord my God, You are very great:
You are clothed with honor and majesty,
2 Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment,
Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.
3 (C)He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters,
Who makes the clouds His chariot,
Who walks on the wings of the wind,
4 Who makes His angels spirits,
His [a]ministers a flame of fire.
5 You who [b]laid the foundations of the earth,
So that it should not be moved forever,
6 You (D)covered it with the deep as with a garment;
The waters stood above the mountains.
7 At Your rebuke they fled;
At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away.
8 [c]They went up over the mountains;
They went down into the valleys,
To the place which You founded for them.
9 You have (E)set a boundary that they may not pass over,
(F)That they may not return to cover the earth.
10 He sends the springs into the valleys;
They flow among the hills.
11 They give drink to every beast of the field;
The wild donkeys quench their thirst.
12 By them the birds of the heavens have their home;
They sing among the branches.
13 (G)He waters the hills from His upper chambers;
The earth is satisfied with (H)the fruit of Your works.
14 (I)He causes the grass to grow for the cattle,
And vegetation for the service of man,
That he may bring forth (J)food from the earth,
15 And (K)wine that makes glad the heart of man,
Oil to make his face shine,
And bread which strengthens man’s heart.
16 The trees of the Lord are full of sap,
The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,
17 Where the birds make their nests;
The stork has her home in the fir trees.
18 The high hills are for the wild goats;
The cliffs are a refuge for the (L)rock[d] badgers.
19 (M)He appointed the moon for seasons;
The (N)sun knows its going down.
20 (O)You make darkness, and it is night,
In which all the beasts of the forest creep about.
21 (P)The young lions roar after their prey,
And seek their food from God.
22 When the sun rises, they gather together
And lie down in their dens.
23 Man goes out to (Q)his work
And to his labor until the evening.
24 (R)O Lord, how manifold are Your works!
In wisdom You have made them all.
The earth is full of Your (S)possessions—
25 This great and wide sea,
In which are innumerable teeming things,
Living things both small and great.
26 There the ships sail about;
There is that (T)Leviathan[e]
Which You have [f]made to play there.
27 (U)These all wait for You,
That You may give them their food in due season.
28 What You give them they gather in;
You open Your hand, they are filled with good.
29 You hide Your face, they are troubled;
(V)You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
30 (W)You send forth Your Spirit, they are created;
And You renew the face of the earth.
31 May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
May the Lord (X)rejoice in His works.
32 He looks on the earth, and it (Y)trembles;
(Z)He touches the hills, and they smoke.
33 (AA)I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
34 May my (AB)meditation be sweet to Him;
I will be glad in the Lord.
35 May (AC)sinners be consumed from the earth,
And the wicked be no more.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!
