Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Ang Dios ug ang Iyang Katawhan
(1 Cro. 16:8-22)
105 Pasalamati ninyo ang Ginoo;
simbaha ninyo siya!
Isugilon ngadto sa mga katawhan ang iyang mga binuhatan.
2 Awiti ninyo siya ug mga pagdayeg;
isugilon ang tanang katingalahan niyang mga buhat.
3 Dayega ninyo ang iyang pagkabalaan.[a]
Paglipay kamong mga nagadangop kaniya.
4 Salig kamo sa Ginoo ug sa iyang kusog.
Dangop kamo kanunay kaniya.
5-6 Kamong mga kaliwat ni Abraham nga alagad sa Dios,
ug mga kaliwat usab ni Jacob nga mga pinili sa Dios,
hinumdomi ninyo ang iyang katingalahang mga buhat, ang iyang mga milagro, ug ang iyang mga paghukom.
7 Siya ang Ginoo nga atong Dios,
ug nagahukom siya sa tibuok kalibotan.
8 Ginahinumdoman niya kanunay ang iyang kasabotan.
Dili gayod niya pagkalimtan ang iyang saad hangtod sa kahangtoran.
9 Kining kasabotan gihimo niya kang Abraham ug gisaad usab niya kang Isaac.
10 Gilig-on niya kini ngadto kang Jacob, nga gitawag usab ug Israel, ug magpadayon kini hangtod sa kahangtoran.
11 Miingon siya sa matag usa kanila,
“Ihatag ko kaninyo ang yuta sa Canaan ingon nga inyong panulondon.”
12 Kaniadto gamay pa lang kaayo ang katawhan sa Dios,
ug mga dumuduong pa lang sila sa yuta sa Canaan.
13 Naglatagaw sila sa mga kanasoran ug mga gingharian.
14 Apan wala motugot ang Dios nga daog-daogon sila.
Aron mapanalipdan sila, gibadlong niya ang mga hari.
Miingon siya:
15 “Ayaw ninyo hilabti ang akong piniling mga alagad;
ayaw ninyo pasipad-i ang akong mga propeta.”
16 Sa dihang nagpadala ang Dios ug kagutom sa yuta sa Canaan,
gihurot niyag kuha ang tanan nilang kuhaanan ug pagkaon.
17 Apan gipauna na niyang daan si Jose, nga gibaligya ingon nga ulipon didto sa Ehipto.
18 Gikadenahan ang iyang mga tiil
ug gibutangan ug puthaw ang iyang liog,
19 hangtod nga natuman ang iyang gitagna.
Ang mensahe sa Ginoo kaniya nga natuman nagpamatuod nga matarong siya.
20 Gibuhian siya sa hari sa Ehipto nga nangulo sa daghang katawhan,
21 ug gihimo siya nga tigdumala sa palasyo ug sa tanang kabtangan niini.
22 Isip tigdumala, may katungod siya sa pagbadlong sa mga opisyal sa hari,
ug sa pagtudlo sa mga magtatambag niini.
23 Unya miadto si Jacob ug ang iyang panimalay sa Ehipto, ang yuta sa mga kaliwat ni Ham,
ug didto sila namuyo.
24 Gipadaghan sa Ginoo ang iyang katawhan;
mas daghan pa kay sa mga taga-Ehipto nga ilang mga kaaway.
25 Gitugot sa Ginoo nga kasilagan ug limbongan sa mga taga-Ehipto ang iyang katawhan nga iyang mga alagad.
26 Unya gipadala niya si Moises nga iyang alagad ug si Aaron nga iyang pinili.
27 Gipakita nila didto sa yuta sa mga kaliwat ni Ham ang katingalahang mga buhat sa Dios.
28 Gipangitngit sa Dios ang Ehipto;
apan misupak gihapon[b] ang mga taga-Ehipto sa iyang mga sugo.
29 Gihimo niyang dugo ang ilang mga tubig,
busa nangamatay ang mga isda.
30 Napuno ug baki ang ilang yuta,
bisan ang mga kuwarto sa ilang mga pangulo.
31 Sa pagmando sa Dios, napuno ug langaw ug lamok[c] ang ilang yuta.
32 Gipadad-an niya sila ug ulan nga ice ug kilat.
33 Gipangdaot niya ang ilang mga tanom nga ubas ug ang mga kahoy nga igos, ug ang uban pang mga kahoy.
34 Sa iyang pagmando, miabot ang mga dulon[d] nga dili maihap sa kadaghan.
35 Ug gikaon niini ang tanang mga tanom sa ilang yuta apil na ang ilang mga anihon.
36 Gipamatay sa Dios ang tanan nilang mga kamagulangang anak nga lalaki.
37 Unya gipagawas niya ang mga Israelinhon gikan sa Ehipto nga wala maunsa,
ug may dala pang mga pilak ug mga bulawan.
38 Nalipay ang mga taga-Ehipto sa pagbiya sa mga Israelinhon, tungod kay nahadlok sila kanila.
39 Sa panahon sa paglakaw sa mga Israelinhon, nagbutang ang Dios ug panganod sa paghatag ug landong kanila, ug kalayo sa paghatag kanila ug kahayag sa panahon sa kagabhion.
40 Nangayo sila[e] ug pagkaon,
ug gipadad-an sila sa Dios ug mga buntog,
ug gibusog niya sila sa pagkaon nga gikan sa langit.
41 Gibuak niya ang bato ug mibugwak ang tubig.
Midagayday kini sa disyerto sama sa suba.
42 Gihimo kining tanan sa Dios kay wala niya kalimti ang iyang saad kang Abraham nga iyang alagad.
43 Gipagawas niya gikan sa Ehipto nga malipayon ug naghugyaw sa kalipay ang katawhan nga iyang pinili.
44 Ug gihatag niya kanila ang mga yuta nga gipanag-iyahan sa ubang mga katawhan;
gipanunod nila ang hinagoan sa uban.
45 Gihimo kini sa Dios aron tumanon nila ang iyang mga tulumanon ug mga kasugoan.
Dayega ang Ginoo!

105 1 He praiseth the singular grace of God, who hath of all the people of the world chosen a peculiar people to himself, and having chosen them, never ceaseth to do them good, even for his promise’s sake.
1 Praise the Lord, and call upon his Name: [a]declare his works among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing praise unto him, and talk of all his wondrous works.
3 Rejoice in his holy Name, let the heart of them that seek the Lord, rejoice.
4 Seek the Lord and his [b]strength: seek his face continually.
5 Remember his [c]marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the [d]judgments of his mouth,
6 Ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob, which are his elect.
7 He is the Lord our God: his judgments are through all the earth.
8 He hath always remembered his covenant, and promise, that he made to a thousand generations,
9 Even that which he [e]made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac:
10 And since hath confirmed it to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
11 Saying, [f]Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.
12 Albeit they were few in number, yea very few, and strangers in the land,
13 And walked about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,
14 Yet suffered he no man to do them wrong, but reproved [g]Kings for their sakes, saying,
15 Touch not mine [h]anointed, and do my [i]Prophets no harm.
16 Moreover, he called a famine upon the land, and utterly brake the [j]staff of bread.
17 But he sent a man before them: Joseph was sold for a slave.
18 They held his feet in the stocks, and he was laid in irons,
19 Until [k]his appointed time came, and the counsel of the Lord had tried him.
20 The King sent and loosed him: even the Ruler of the people delivered him.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance,
22 That he should bind his [l]princes unto his will, and teach his Ancients wisdom.
23 Then Israel came to Egypt, and Jacob was a stranger in the land of Ham.
24 And he increased his people exceedingly, and made them stronger than their oppressors.
25 [m]He turned their heart to hate his people, and to deal craftily with his servants.
26 Then sent he Moses his servant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27 They showed among them the message of his signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark: and they were not [n]disobedient unto his commission.
29 (A)He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 (B)Their land brought forth frogs, even in their King’s chambers.
31 He [o]spake, and there came swarms of flies and lice in all their quarters.
32 He gave them [p]hail for rain, and flames of fire in their land.
33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees, and brake down the trees in their coasts.
34 [q]He spake and the grasshoppers came, and caterpillars innumerable,
35 And did eat up all the grass in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 (C)He smote also all the firstborn in their land, even the beginning of all their strength.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold, and there was [r]none feeble among their tribes.
38 Egypt was [s]glad at their departing: for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
39 He spread a cloud to be a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
40 They [t]asked, and he brought quails, and he filled them with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and the water flowed out, and ran in the dry places like a river.
42 For he remembered his holy [u]promise to Abraham his servant,
43 And he brought forth his people with [v]joy, and his chosen with gladness,
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen, and they took the labors of the people in possession,
45 That they might [w]keep his statutes, and observe his Laws. Praise ye the Lord.

and from among their tribes no one faltered.
38 Egypt was glad when they left,
because dread of Israel(BK) had fallen on them.
39 He spread out a cloud(BL) as a covering,
and a fire to give light at night.(BM)
40 They asked,(BN) and he brought them quail;(BO)
he fed them well with the bread of heaven.(BP)
41 He opened the rock,(BQ) and water gushed out;
it flowed like a river in the desert.
42 For he remembered his holy promise(BR)
given to his servant Abraham.

his chosen ones with shouts of joy;
44 he gave them the lands of the nations,(BT)
and they fell heir to what others had toiled(BU) for—
45 that they might keep his precepts

35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord.
