148 Molwch yr Arglwydd. Molwch yr Arglwydd o’r nefoedd: molwch ef yn yr uchelderau. Molwch ef, ei holl angylion: molwch ef, ei holl luoedd. Molwch ef, haul a lleuad: molwch ef, yr holl sêr goleuni. Molwch ef, nef y nefoedd; a’r dyfroedd y rhai ydych oddi ar y nefoedd. Molant enw yr Arglwydd: oherwydd efe a orchmynnodd, a hwy a grewyd. A gwnaeth iddynt barhau byth yn dragywydd: gosododd ddeddf, ac nis troseddir hi. Molwch yr Arglwydd o’r ddaear, y dreigiau, a’r holl ddyfnderau: Tân a chenllysg, eira a tharth; gwynt ystormus, yn gwneuthur ei air ef: Y mynyddoedd a’r bryniau oll; y coed ffrwythlon a’r holl gedrwydd: 10 Y bwystfilod a phob anifail; yr ymlusgiaid ac adar asgellog: 11 Brenhinoedd y ddaear a’r holl bobloedd; tywysogion a holl farnwyr y byd: 12 Gwŷr ieuainc a gwyryfon hefyd; hynafgwyr a llanciau: 13 Molant enw yr Arglwydd: oherwydd ei enw ef yn unig sydd ddyrchafadwy; ei ardderchowgrwydd ef sydd uwchlaw daear a nefoedd. 14 Ac efe sydd yn dyrchafu corn ei bobl, moliant ei holl saint; sef meibion Israel, pobl agos ato. Molwch yr Arglwydd.

Praise to the Lord from Creation

148 Praise[a] the Lord!

Praise the Lord from the heavens;
Praise Him in the heights!
Praise Him, all His angels;
Praise Him, all His hosts!
Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
Praise Him, (A)you heavens of heavens,
And (B)you waters above the heavens!

Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For (C)He commanded and they were created.
(D)He also established them forever and ever;
He made a decree which shall not pass away.

Praise the Lord from the earth,
(E)You great sea creatures and all the depths;
Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
(F)Mountains and all hills;
Fruitful trees and all cedars;
10 Beasts and all cattle;
Creeping things and flying fowl;
11 Kings of the earth and all peoples;
Princes and all judges of the earth;
12 Both young men and maidens;
Old men and children.

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For His (G)name alone is exalted;
His glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 And He (H)has exalted the [b]horn of His people,
The praise of (I)all His saints—
Of the children of Israel,
(J)A people near to Him.

[c]Praise the Lord!

Psalm 148

Halleluja! Prijs de Heer in de hemel.
Prijs de Heer in de hoogste hemel.
Engelen, prijs de Heer.
Hemelse legers, prijs de Heer.
Zon en maan, prijs de Heer.
Stralende sterren, prijs de Heer.
Hoogste hemel, prijs de Heer.
Wolken daarboven, prijs de Heer.
Laten zij Hem prijzen,

Halleluja! Prijs de Heer!
