Salmau 70
Beibl William Morgan
I’r Pencerdd, Salm Dafydd i goffa.
70 O Dduw, prysura i’m gwaredu; brysia, Arglwydd, i’m cymorth. 2 Cywilyddier a gwarthrudder y rhai a geisiant fy enaid: troer yn eu hôl a gwaradwydder y rhai a ewyllysiant ddrwg i mi. 3 Datroer yn lle gwobr am eu cywilydd, y rhai a ddywedant, Ha, ha. 4 Llawenyched, a gorfoledded ynot ti y rhai oll a’th geisiant; a dyweded y rhai a garant dy iachawdwriaeth yn wastad, Mawryger Duw. 5 Minnau ydwyf dlawd ac anghenus; O Dduw, brysia ataf: fy nghymorth a’m gwaredydd ydwyt ti, O Arglwydd; na hir drig.

1 Hasten, O God, to save me;
come quickly, Lord, to help me.(B)

be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
be turned back in disgrace.(D)
3 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”(E)
turn back because of their shame.
4 But may all who seek you(F)
rejoice and be glad(G) in you;

Psalm 70
King James Version
70 Make haste, o God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5 But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.
