Salmau 122
Beibl William Morgan
Caniad y graddau, o’r eiddo Dafydd.
122 Llawenychais pan ddywedent wrthyf, Awn i dŷ yr Arglwydd. 2 Ein traed a safant o fewn dy byrth di, O Jerwsalem. 3 Jerwsalem a adeiladwyd fel dinas wedi ei chydgysylltu ynddi ei hun. 4 Yno yr esgyn y llwythau, llwythau yr Arglwydd, yn dystiolaeth i Israel, i foliannu enw yr Arglwydd. 5 Canys yno y gosodwyd gorseddfeinciau barn, gorseddfeinciau tŷ Dafydd. 6 Dymunwch heddwch Jerwsalem: llwydded y rhai a’th hoffant. 7 Heddwch fyddo o fewn dy ragfur, a ffyniant yn dy balasau. 8 Er mwyn fy mrodyr a’m cyfeillion y dywedaf yn awr, Heddwch fyddo i ti. 9 Er mwyn tŷ yr Arglwydd ein Duw, y ceisiaf i ti ddaioni.
Psalm 122
New International Version
Psalm 122
A song of ascents. Of David.
1 I rejoiced with those who said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
2 Our feet are standing
in your gates, Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is built like a city
that is closely compacted together.
4 That is where the tribes go up—
the tribes of the Lord—
to praise the name of the Lord
according to the statute given to Israel.
5 There stand the thrones for judgment,
the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love(A) you be secure.
7 May there be peace(B) within your walls
and security within your citadels.(C)”
8 For the sake of my family and friends,
I will say, “Peace be within you.”
9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your prosperity.(D)
