83 ¶ (83:1) Chante sa a se yon sòm Asaf li ye. (83:2) O Bondye, pa rete ak bouch ou fèmen! Pa rete san ou pa di anyen, Bondye! Pa rete konsa san ou pa fè anyen!
2 (83:3) Men li! Lènmi ou yo ap revòlte. Moun ki pa vle wè ou yo ap leve dèyè ou!3 (83:4) Y'ap fè konplo an kachèt sou do pèp ou a, y'ap mete tèt yo ansanm sou do moun w'ap pwoteje yo.
4 (83:5) Yo di: -Vini non! Ann efase non yo pami nasyon yo, pou pesonn pa janm chonje peyi Izrayèl la ankò!
5 (83:6) Yo mete tèt yo ansanm, yo fè yon sèl lide: yo dakò pou yo fè bann sou do ou.
6 (83:7) Moun peyi Edon ansanm ak pitit pitit Izmayèl yo, moun peyi Moab ansanm ak pitit pitit Aga yo,
7 (83:8) moun peyi Gebal, moun peyi Amon ansanm ak moun peyi Amalèk yo, moun peyi Filisti ansanm ak moun lavil Tir, yo tout yo dakò.
8 (83:9) Moun peyi Lasiri yo tou fè bann ak yo, yo mete fòs yo ansanm ak pitit pitit Lòt yo.
9 ¶ (83:10) Sa ou te fè moun peyi Madyan yo, sa ou te fè Sisera ansanm ak Jaben nan ravin Kichon an, se sa pou ou fè yo tou.
10 (83:11) Ou te kraze yo nan Andò, ou fè kadav yo tounen fimye pou tè a.
11 (83:12) Sa ou te fè Orèb ak Zeèb, se sa pou ou fè chèf lame yo tou! Menm jan ou te kraze Zebak ak Salmouna, se konsa pou ou kraze chèf yo tou,
12 (83:13) paske yo te di: -Ann pran peyi Bondye a pou nou.
13 (83:14) Bondye mwen, gaye yo tankou pousyè nan toubouyon, tankou pay van ap pote ale.
14 (83:15) Tankou dife k'ap boule nan rakbwa, tankou flanm dife k'ap mache boule mòn yo,
15 (83:16) se konsa pou ou kouri dèyè yo ak gwo van tanpèt ou a. Fè yo pè ak gwo van siklòn ou yo!
16 (83:17) Fè yo wont, fè yo blije kache figi yo, Seyè, pou yo ka chache konnen ou.
17 (83:18) Se pou yo wont nèt jouk yo pa konn sa pou yo fè. Se pou yo kouri kache, se pou yo mouri.
18 (83:19) Fè yo konnen se ou menm sèl ki Seyè, se ou menm ki sèl chèf sou tout latè.

1 O God, do not remain silent;(A)
do not turn a deaf ear,
do not stand aloof, O God.
2 See how your enemies growl,(B)
how your foes rear their heads.(C)
3 With cunning they conspire(D) against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.(E)
4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy(F) them as a nation,(G)
so that Israel’s name is remembered(H) no more.”
5 With one mind they plot together;(I)
they form an alliance against you—
6 the tents of Edom(J) and the Ishmaelites,
of Moab(K) and the Hagrites,(L)
7 Byblos,(M) Ammon(N) and Amalek,(O)
Philistia,(P) with the people of Tyre.(Q)
8 Even Assyria(R) has joined them
to reinforce Lot’s descendants.[b](S)
9 Do to them as you did to Midian,(T)
as you did to Sisera(U) and Jabin(V) at the river Kishon,(W)
10 who perished at Endor(X)
and became like dung(Y) on the ground.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb,(Z)
all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,(AA)
12 who said, “Let us take possession(AB)
of the pasturelands of God.”
