2 For if Abraham was justified [a]by works, he has something to boast about—but (A)not [b]before God! 3 For what does the Scripture say? “(B)Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.” 4 Now to the one who (C)works, his wage is not counted according to grace, but according to what is due.
