Romans 14:5-9
Legacy Standard Bible
5 (A)One person judges one day above another, another judges every day alike. Each person must be (B)fully convinced in his own mind. 6 He who regards the day, regards it for the Lord, and he who eats, eats for the Lord, for he (C)gives thanks to God; and he who does not eat, for the Lord he does not eat and gives thanks to God. 7 For not one of us (D)lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; 8 for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore (E)whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. 9 For to this end (F)Christ died and lived again, that He might be (G)Lord both of the dead and of the living.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
5 One person considers one day to be above another day.(A) Someone else considers every day to be the same. Each one must be fully convinced in his own mind.(B) 6 Whoever observes the day, observes it for the honor of the Lord.[a] Whoever eats, eats for the Lord, since he gives thanks to God;(C) and whoever does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat it, yet he thanks God. 7 For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.(D) 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.(E) 9 Christ died and came to life(F) for this: that He might rule over both the dead and the living.(G)
