Romans 3:5-8
Holman Christian Standard Bible
5 But if our unrighteousness highlights[a] God’s righteousness,(A) what are we to say?(B) I use a human argument:[b](C) Is God unrighteous to inflict wrath? 6 Absolutely not! Otherwise, how will God judge the world?(D) 7 But if by my lie God’s truth is amplified to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?(E) 8 And why not say, just as some people slanderously claim we say, “Let us do what is evil so that good may come”?(F) Their condemnation is deserved!

Lexham English Bible

Their[a] condemnation is just!

New International Version
5 But if our unrighteousness brings out God’s righteousness more clearly,(A) what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.)(B) 6 Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the world?(C) 7 Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory,(D) why am I still condemned as a sinner?”(E) 8 Why not say—as some slanderously claim that we say—“Let us do evil that good may result”?(F) Their condemnation is just!
