Romans 11:9-11
American Standard Version
9 And David saith,
[a]Let their table be made a snare, and a trap,
And a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto them:
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see,
And bow thou down their back always.
11 I say then, Did they stumble that they might fall? God forbid: but by their [b]fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.

9 And David says:
“May their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them.
10 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,(A)
and their backs be bent forever.”[a](B)

11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all!(C) Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles(D) to make Israel envious.(E)
