Ano nga kung hindi naging tapat ang ilan sa kanila? Ang ibig kayang sabihin niyon ay hindi na rin tapat ang Diyos? Hinding-hindi!(A) Ang Diyos ay tapat at totoo kahit na sinungaling pa ang lahat ng tao. Ayon nga sa nasusulat,

“Kapag ikaw ay nagsalita, mapapatunayan kang matuwid
    at kung ikaw ay hahatulan, ikaw ay mananaig.”

Ngunit kung ang kasamaan natin ay nagpapakilala ng katarungan ng Diyos, masasabi ba nating hindi siya makatarungan dahil tayo'y pinaparusahan niya? (Ganyan ang pangangatuwiran ng tao.)

“Sa Iyong mga salita'y kikilalanin kang matuwid,
    kapag hinatulan ka, ika'y mananaig.”

Subalit kung ang ating kasamaan ay nagpapatibay sa katuwiran ng Diyos, masasabi ba nating ang Diyos ay di-makatarungan dahil sa pagbubuhos niya ng poot? Nangangatwiran ako ayon sa pananaw ng tao.

What if some were unfaithful?(A) Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness?(B) Not at all! Let God be true,(C) and every human being a liar.(D) As it is written:

“So that you may be proved right when you speak
    and prevail when you judge.”[a](E)

But if our unrighteousness brings out God’s righteousness more clearly,(F) what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.)(G)
