Magandang Balita Biblia
11 At(E) muling sinabi,
“Magpuri kayo sa Panginoon, kayong mga Hentil,
lahat ng bansa ay magpuri sa kanya!”
12 Sinabi pa ni Isaias,
“May isisilang sa angkan ni Jesse,
upang maghari sa mga Hentil;
27 Malugod(I) nilang ginawa iyon, at talaga namang dapat nilang gawin.
Amen.

Romans 15
Worldwide English (New Testament)
15 We who are strong must help those who are not strong. We must not do what pleases us.
2 But each of us must please his neighbour. He must do what is good for him and what will help him do better.
3 Christ did not please himself. But the holy writings say, `I took upon myself the wrong things that people said against you.'
4 Everything that is in the holy writings was written to teach us. They give hope and strength when we have troubles. The holy writings comfort our hearts.
5 God gives people power to take their troubles and he comforts their hearts. I ask him to help you to think the same way as Christ did.
6 Then, together you will praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 So, accept one another, as Christ has accepted you. Then people will know that God is great.
8 What I say is this. Christ came to serve the Jews. He did this to prove that what God said was true. He proved that God kept his promises to the fathers.
9 He did this so that people who are not Jews would praise God because he is kind. The holy writings say, `So I will praise you among the people who are not Jews. I will sing songs to your name.'
10 The holy writings also say, `People who are not Jews, be glad with those who are God's people.'
11 And they also say, `People who are not Jews, praise the Lord. All peoples should praise him.'
12 Also, Isaiah says, `Someone from Jesse's family will come. He will come to rule the people who are not Jews. People who are not Jews will have hope in him.'
13 God gives hope. May he make you very happy. May he give you peace because you believe. Then the power of the Holy Spirit will give you much hope.
14 My brothers, I myself believe that you are very good people. I believe that you know many things and are able to teach one another.
15 I have written strong words to you. There are some things I want you to remember. I have written because of the gift God has given to me.
16 I am a servant of Christ Jesus to the people who are not Jews. I am like a priest to them, to tell them God's good news. Then I offer the people to God. That pleases God. They have been accepted by him and made holy by the Holy Spirit.
17 So, because of Christ Jesus, I am proud of my work for God.
18 I will speak only of what Christ has done through me. People who are not Jews have obeyed the good news. They have obeyed because of what I told them and because of what I did.
19 I had the power to do signs and wonderful things through the power of the Holy Spirit. So I have told the good news of Christ all the way from the city of Jerusalem to the country of Illyricum.
20 I have wanted to tell the good news where people have not heard the name of Christ. I did not want to work where another man had started to work.
21 The holy writings say, `They were not told about him, but they will see him. And the people who have not heard of him will understand.'
22 So I have been stopped many times from coming to you.
23 But now, I am no longer needed to work in these places. And I have wanted for many years to come to you.
24 When I go to the country of Spain, I hope to see you on my way there. I hope you will help me on my way to that place. But first I will be happy to be with you for a little while.
25 But now I am going to Jerusalem with a gift to help God's people.
26 The people of Macedonia and Achaia wanted to send a gift to help God's people in Jerusalem who are poor.
27 They wanted to do it, and they should do it for them. The Jews gave the people who were not Jews the good things their spirits need. So the people who were not Jews should give the Jews the good things their bodies need.
28 I will finish doing this, and I will give them what the people send them. Then I will go by you on my way to Spain.
29 And I know that when I come to you, I will bring great blessings from Christ.
30 My brothers, I ask you to do this for the sake of the Lord Jesus Christ and because the Spirit has given you love. Talk to God for me. And I also will talk to him.
31 Ask him to save me from the people in Judea who do not believe. Ask him that the gift I take to Jerusalem may please God's people there.
32 Ask him to let me come to you and have a good time with you.
33 God gives peace. I ask that he will be with you all. He will!
Romans 15
New International Version
15 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak(A) and not to please ourselves. 2 Each of us should please our neighbors for their good,(B) to build them up.(C) 3 For even Christ did not please himself(D) but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”[a](E) 4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us,(F) so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind(G) toward each other that Christ Jesus had, 6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify(H) the God and Father(I) of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 Accept one another,(J) then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. 8 For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews[b](K) on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises(L) made to the patriarchs might be confirmed 9 and, moreover, that the Gentiles(M) might glorify God(N) for his mercy. As it is written:
10 Again, it says,
11 And again,
12 And again, Isaiah says,
“The Root of Jesse(R) will spring up,
one who will arise to rule over the nations;
in him the Gentiles will hope.”[f](S)
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace(T) as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.(U)
Paul the Minister to the Gentiles
14 I myself am convinced, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness,(V) filled with knowledge(W) and competent to instruct one another. 15 Yet I have written you quite boldly on some points to remind you of them again, because of the grace God gave me(X) 16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles.(Y) He gave me the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God,(Z) so that the Gentiles might become an offering(AA) acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
17 Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus(AB) in my service to God.(AC) 18 I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles(AD) to obey God(AE) by what I have said and done— 19 by the power of signs and wonders,(AF) through the power of the Spirit of God.(AG) So from Jerusalem(AH) all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.(AI) 20 It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel(AJ) where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.(AK) 21 Rather, as it is written:
22 This is why I have often been hindered from coming to you.(AM)
Paul’s Plan to Visit Rome
23 But now that there is no more place for me to work in these regions, and since I have been longing for many years to visit you,(AN) 24 I plan to do so when I go to Spain.(AO) I hope to see you while passing through and to have you assist(AP) me on my journey there, after I have enjoyed your company for a while. 25 Now, however, I am on my way to Jerusalem(AQ) in the service(AR) of the Lord’s people(AS) there. 26 For Macedonia(AT) and Achaia(AU) were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the Lord’s people in Jerusalem.(AV) 27 They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.(AW) 28 So after I have completed this task and have made sure that they have received this contribution, I will go to Spain(AX) and visit you on the way. 29 I know that when I come to you,(AY) I will come in the full measure of the blessing of Christ.
30 I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit,(AZ) to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.(BA) 31 Pray that I may be kept safe(BB) from the unbelievers in Judea and that the contribution(BC) I take to Jerusalem may be favorably received by the Lord’s people(BD) there, 32 so that I may come to you(BE) with joy, by God’s will,(BF) and in your company be refreshed.(BG) 33 The God of peace(BH) be with you all. Amen.
