Heirs with Christ

¹² So then, brothers,^[a] we are debtors, ^(A)not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. ¹³ For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you ^(B)put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. ¹⁴ For all who are ^(C)led by the Spirit of God are ^(D)sons^[b] of God.

¹⁸ But if you are ^(A)led by the Spirit, ^(B)you are not under the law. ¹⁹ Now ^(C)the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, ^(D)divisions, ²¹ envy,^[a] drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that ^(E)those who do^[b] such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. ²² But ^(F)the fruit of the Spirit is ^(G)love, joy, peace, patience, ^(H)kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ^23 (I)gentleness, ^(J)self-control; ^(K)against such things there is no law. ²⁴ And those who belong to Christ Jesus ^(L)have crucified the flesh with its ^(M)passions and desires.
