² For the law of the Spirit^[a] of life in Christ Jesus has set you^[b] free from the law of sin and of death.^(A)

¹⁴ For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.^(A)

¹⁷ Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.^(A)

¹⁸ and that you, having been set free from sin, have become enslaved to righteousness.^(A)

⁶ who has made us qualified to be ministers of a new covenant, not of letter but of spirit, for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.^(A)

⁴⁵ Thus it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.^(A)

³⁶ So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

³² and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”^(A)

¹⁰ But if Christ is in you, then the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit^[a] is life because of righteousness. ¹¹ If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus^[b] from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through^[c] his Spirit that dwells in you.^(A)

²² But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the fruit you have leads to sanctification, and the end is eternal life.^(A)
