^4 (A)Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master^[a] that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

^11 (A)Do not speak evil against one another, brothers.^[a] The one who speaks against a brother or ^(B)judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. ¹² There is only ^(C)one lawgiver and ^(D)judge, he who is able to save and ^(E)to destroy. But ^(F)who are you to judge your neighbor?

²⁰ But who are you, O man, ^(A)to answer back to God? ^(B)Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?”

^24 (A)Now to him who is able ^(B)to keep you from stumbling and ^(C)to present you ^(D)blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,

God's Everlasting Love

³¹ What then shall we say to these things? ^(A)If God is for us, who can be^[a] against us? ^32 (B)He who did not spare his own Son but ^(C)gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? ³³ Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? ^(D)It is God who justifies. ^34 (E)Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—^(F)who is at the right hand of God, ^(G)who indeed is interceding for us.^{[b] 35} Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written,

³⁷ No, in all these things we are more than ^(J)conquerors through ^(K)him who loved us. ³⁸ For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, ³⁹ nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

^4 (A)For I am not aware of anything against myself, ^(B)but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. ⁵ Therefore ^(C)do not pronounce judgment before the time, ^(D)before the Lord comes, ^(E)who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. ^(F)Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

^28 (A)I give them eternal life, and ^(B)they will never perish, and ^(C)no one will snatch them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father, ^(D)who has given them to me,^{[a] (E)}is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of ^(F)the Father's hand. ^30 (G)I and the Father are one.”

²⁵ Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost^{[a] (A)}those who draw near to God ^(B)through him, since he always lives ^(C)to make intercession for them.
