Galatians 5:17-24
New King James Version
17 For (A)the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, (B)so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But (C)if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now (D)the works of the flesh are evident, which are: [a]adultery, [b]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, [c]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that (E)those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But (F)the fruit of the Spirit is (G)love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, (H)goodness, (I)faithfulness, 23 [d]gentleness, self-control. (J)Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s (K)have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

New International Version
17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh.(A) They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[a] you want.(B) 18 But if you are led by the Spirit,(C) you are not under the law.(D)
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality,(E) impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.(F) I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.(G)
22 But the fruit(H) of the Spirit is love,(I) joy, peace,(J) forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control.(K) Against such things there is no law.(L) 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh(M) with its passions and desires.(N)

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
New King James Version
9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly (A)I will rather boast in my infirmities, (B)that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore (C)I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. (D)For when I am weak, then I am strong.

9 But he said to me, “My grace(A) is sufficient for you, for my power(B) is made perfect in weakness.(C)”(D) Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight(E) in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships,(F) in persecutions,(G) in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.(H)

Romans 7:15-24
New King James Version
15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. (A)For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that (B)in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
21 I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. 22 For I (C)delight in the law of God according to (D)the inward man. 23 But (E)I see another law in (F)my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me (G)from this body of death?

15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.(A) 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.(B) 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.(C) 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[a](D) For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.(E) 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.(F)
21 So I find this law at work:(G) Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being(H) I delight in God’s law;(I) 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war(J) against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin(K) at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?(L)
