Paul Returns to Antioch

¹⁸ After this, Paul stayed many days longer and then took leave of ^(A)the brothers^[a] and set sail for Syria, and with him ^(B)Priscilla and Aquila. At ^(C)Cenchreae ^(D)he had cut his hair, for he was under a vow.

²² Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for ^(A)a sincere brotherly love, ^(B)love one another earnestly from a pure heart, ^23 (C)since you have been born again, ^(D)not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through ^(E)the living and abiding word of God;

⁹ Let a widow be enrolled if she is not less than sixty years of age, having been ^(A)the wife of one husband,^{[a] 10} and having a reputation for good works: if she has brought up children, has ^(B)shown hospitality, ^(C)has washed the feet of the saints, has ^(D)cared for the afflicted, and has ^(E)devoted herself to every good work.
