Paul’s Ministry to the Gentiles
3 This is the reason that I, Paul, am a prisoner for[e] Christ Jesus[f] for the sake of you gentiles, 2 for surely[g] you have already heard of the commission of God’s grace that was given me for you 3 and how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I wrote above in a few words,[h](J) 4 a reading of which will enable you to perceive my understanding of the mystery of Christ.(K) 5 In former generations this mystery[i] was not made known to humankind, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit:(L) 6 that is, the gentiles have become fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.(M)
7 Of this gospel I have become a servant according to the gift of God’s grace that was given me by the working of his power. 8 Although I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given to me to bring to the gentiles the news of the boundless riches of Christ(N)

God’s Marvelous Plan for the Gentiles
3 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner(AB) of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—
2 Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me(AC) for you, 3 that is, the mystery(AD) made known to me by revelation,(AE) as I have already written briefly. 4 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight(AF) into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets.(AG) 6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs(AH) together with Israel, members together of one body,(AI) and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.(AJ)
7 I became a servant of this gospel(AK) by the gift of God’s grace given me(AL) through the working of his power.(AM) 8 Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people,(AN) this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles(AO) the boundless riches of Christ,(AP)
