5 Coming from the throne are flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and in front of the throne burn seven flaming torches, which are the seven spirits of God; 6 and in front of the throne there is something like a sea of glass, like crystal.
Around the throne, and on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: 7 the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with a face like a human face, and the fourth living creature like a flying eagle.

5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder.(A) In front of the throne, seven lamps(B) were blazing. These are the seven spirits[a](C) of God. 6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass,(D) clear as crystal.
In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures,(E) and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.(F) 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.(G)
