The Dead Church
3 “And to the [a]angel of the church in Sardis write,
‘These things says He who (A)has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before [b]God. 3 (B)Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and (C)repent. (D)Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you (E)as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. 4 [c]You have (F)a few names [d]even in Sardis who have not (G)defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me (H)in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes (I)shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not (J)blot out his name from the (K)Book of Life; but (L)I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

7 “And to the [e]angel of the church in Philadelphia write,
‘These things says (N)He who is holy, (O)He who is true, (P)“He who has the key of David, (Q)He who opens and no one shuts, and (R)shuts and no one opens”: 8 (S)“I know your works. See, I have set before you (T)an open door, [f]and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Indeed I will make (U)those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed (V)I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept [g]My command to persevere, (W)I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon (X)the whole world, to test those who dwell (Y)on the earth. 11 [h]Behold, (Z)I am coming quickly! (AA)Hold fast what you have, that no one may take (AB)your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him (AC)a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall (AD)go out no more. (AE)I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the (AF)New Jerusalem, which (AG)comes down out of heaven from My God. (AH)And I will write on him My new name.

14 “And to the [i]angel of the church [j]of the Laodiceans write,
(AJ)‘These things says the Amen, (AK)the Faithful and True Witness, (AL)the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 (AM)“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither [k]cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, (AN)‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you (AO)to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and (AP)white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 (AQ)As many as I love, I rebuke and (AR)chasten.[l] Therefore be [m]zealous and repent. 20 Behold, (AS)I stand at the door and knock. (AT)If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, (AU)I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes (AV)I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

5. Sardi
3 All'angelo della Chiesa di Sardi scrivi: Così parla Colui che possiede i sette spiriti di Dio e le sette stelle: Conosco le tue opere; ti si crede vivo e invece sei morto. 2 Svegliati e rinvigorisci ciò che rimane e sta per morire, perché non ho trovato le tue opere perfette davanti al mio Dio. 3 Ricorda dunque come hai accolto la parola, osservala e ravvediti, perché se non sarai vigilante, verrò come un ladro senza che tu sappia in quale ora io verrò da te. 4 Tuttavia a Sardi vi sono alcuni che non hanno macchiato le loro vesti; essi mi scorteranno in vesti bianche, perché ne sono degni. 5 Il vincitore sarà dunque vestito di bianche vesti, non cancellerò il suo nome dal libro della vita, ma lo riconoscerò davanti al Padre mio e davanti ai suoi angeli. 6 Chi ha orecchi, ascolti ciò che lo Spirito dice alle Chiese.
6. Filadelfia
7 All'angelo della Chiesa di Filadelfia scrivi:
Così parla il Santo, il Verace,
Colui che ha la chiave di Davide:
quando egli apre nessuno chiude,
e quando chiude nessuno apre.
8 Conosco le tue opere. Ho aperto davanti a te una porta che nessuno può chiudere. Per quanto tu abbia poca forza, pure hai osservato la mia parola e non hai rinnegato il mio nome. 9 Ebbene, ti faccio dono di alcuni della sinagoga di satana - di quelli che si dicono Giudei, ma mentiscono perché non lo sono -: li farò venire perché si prostrino ai tuoi piedi e sappiano che io ti ho amato. 10 Poiché hai osservato con costanza la mia parola, anch'io ti preserverò nell'ora della tentazione che sta per venire sul mondo intero, per mettere alla prova gli abitanti della terra. 11 Verrò presto. Tieni saldo quello che hai, perché nessuno ti tolga la corona. 12 Il vincitore lo porrò come una colonna nel tempio del mio Dio e non ne uscirà mai più. Inciderò su di lui il nome del mio Dio e il nome della città del mio Dio, della nuova Gerusalemme che discende dal cielo, da presso il mio Dio, insieme con il mio nome nuovo. 13 Chi ha orecchi, ascolti ciò che lo Spirito dice alle Chiese.
7. Laodicea
14 All'angelo della Chiesa di Laodicèa scrivi:
Così parla l'Amen, il Testimone fedele e verace, il Principio della creazione di Dio: 15 Conosco le tue opere: tu non sei né freddo né caldo. Magari tu fossi freddo o caldo! 16 Ma poiché sei tiepido, non sei cioè né freddo né caldo, sto per vomitarti dalla mia bocca. 17 Tu dici: «Sono ricco, mi sono arricchito; non ho bisogno di nulla», ma non sai di essere un infelice, un miserabile, un povero, cieco e nudo. 18 Ti consiglio di comperare da me oro purificato dal fuoco per diventare ricco, vesti bianche per coprirti e nascondere la vergognosa tua nudità e collirio per ungerti gli occhi e ricuperare la vista. 19 Io tutti quelli che amo li rimprovero e li castigo. Mostrati dunque zelante e ravvediti. 20 Ecco, sto alla porta e busso. Se qualcuno ascolta la mia voce e mi apre la porta, io verrò da lui, cenerò con lui ed egli con me. 21 Il vincitore lo farò sedere presso di me, sul mio trono, come io ho vinto e mi sono assiso presso il Padre mio sul suo trono. 22 Chi ha orecchi, ascolti ciò che lo Spirito dice alle Chiese.

3 At sa anghel ng iglesia sa (A)Sardis ay isulat mo:
Ang mga bagay na ito ay sinasabi ng (B)may pitong Espiritu ng Dios, at may pitong bituin: Nalalaman ko ang iyong mga gawa, na ikaw ay may pangalang ikaw ay nabubuhay, (C)at ikaw ay patay.
2 Magpuyat ka, at pagtibayin mo ang mga bagay na natitira, na malapit ng mamatay: sapagka't wala akong nasumpungang iyong mga gawang sakdal sa harapan ng aking Dios.
3 Alalahanin mo nga kung paanong iyong tinanggap at narinig; at ito'y tuparin mo, at magsisi ka. Kaya't kung hindi ka magpupuyat (D)ay paririyan akong (E)gaya ng magnanakaw, at hindi mo malalaman kung anong panahon paririyan ako sa iyo.
4 Nguni't mayroon kang (F)ilang pangalan sa Sardis na hindi (G)nangagdumi ng kanilang mga damit: at sila'y kasama kong magsisilakad (H)na may mga damit na maputi; sapagka't sila'y karapatdapat.
5 (I)Ang magtagumpay (J)ay daramtang gayon ng mga mapuputing damit; at hindi ko (K)papawiin sa anomang paraan ang kaniyang pangalan (L)sa aklat ng buhay, at (M)ipahahayag ko ang kaniyang pangalan sa harapan ng aking Ama, at (N)sa harapan ng kaniyang mga anghel.
6 Ang may pakinig, ay makinig sa sinasabi ng Espiritu sa mga iglesia.
7 At (O)sa anghel ng iglesia sa (P)Filadelfia ay isulat mo:
Ang mga bagay na ito ay sinasabi ng banal, niyaong (Q)totoo, (R)niyaong may susi ni David, (S)niyaong nagbubukas at di mailalapat ng sinoman, at naglalapat at di maibubukas ng sinoman:
8 Nalalaman ko ang iyong mga gawa (narito, inilagay ko sa harapan mo ang isang pintuang bukas, na di mailalapat ng sinoman), na ikaw ay may kaunting kapangyarihan, at tinupad mo ang aking salita, at hindi mo ikinaila ang aking pangalan.
9 Narito, ibinibigay ko (T)sa sinagoga ni Satanas, ang mga nagsasabing sila'y mga Judio, at sila'y hindi, kundi nangagbubulaan; narito, sila'y (U)aking papapariyanin at pasasambahin sa harap ng iyong mga paa, at nang maalamang ikaw ay aking inibig.
10 Sapagka't tinupad mo ang salita ng aking pagtitiis, ikaw naman ay aking iingatan sa panahon ng pagsubok, na darating sa buong sanglibutan, upang subukin ang mga nananahan sa ibabaw ng lupa.
11 (V)Ako'y dumarating na madali: (W)panghawakan mong matibay ang nasa iyo, upang huwag kunin ng sinoman ang (X)iyong putong.
12 (Y)Ang magtagumpay, ay gagawin kong (Z)haligi sa templo ng aking Dios, at hindi na siya'y lalabas pa doon: at isusulat ko sa kaniya (AA)ang pangalan ng aking Dios, at ang pangalan ng bayan ng aking Dios, ang (AB)bagong Jerusalem, na mananaog buhat sa langit mula sa aking Dios, at ang (AC)aking sariling bagong pangalan.
13 Ang may pakinig, ay makinig sa sinasabi ng Espiritu sa mga iglesia.
14 At sa anghel ng iglesia sa (AD)Laodicea ay isulat mo:
Ang mga bagay na ito ay sinasabi ng (AE)Siya (AF)Nawa, ng saksing tapat at totoo, (AG)ng pasimula ng paglalang ng Dios:
15 Nalalaman ko ang iyong mga gawa, na ikaw ay hindi malamig o mainit man: ibig ko sanang ikaw ay malamig o mainit.
16 Kaya sapagka't ikaw ay malahininga, at hindi mainit o malamig man, ay isusuka kita sa aking bibig.
17 Sapagka't sinasabi mo, Ako'y mayaman, at nagkamit ng kayamanan, at hindi ako nangangailangan ng anoman; at hindi mo nalalamang ikaw ang aba at maralita at dukha at bulag at hubad:
18 Ipinapayo ko sa iyo (AH)na ikaw ay bumili sa akin ng gintong dinalisay ng apoy, upang ikaw ay yumaman: at ng (AI)mapuputing damit, upang iyong maisuot, at upang huwag mahayag ang iyong kahiyahiyang kahubaran; at ng pangpahid sa mata, na ipahid sa iyong mga mata, upang ikaw ay makakita.
19 Ang lahat kong iniibig, ay aking sinasaway (AJ)at pinarurusahan: ikaw nga'y magsikap, at (AK)magsisi.
20 Narito ako'y nakatayo sa pintuan at (AL)tumutuktok: kung ang sinoman ay duminig ng aking tinig at magbukas ng pinto, (AM)ako'y papasok sa kaniya, at hahapong kasalo niya, at siya'y kasalo ko.
21 Ang magtagumpay, (AN)ay aking pagkakaloobang umupong kasama ko sa aking luklukan, gaya ko naman na (AO)nagtagumpay, at umupong kasama ng aking Ama sa kaniyang luklukan.
22 Ang may pakinig, ay makinig sa sinasabi ng Espiritu sa mga iglesia.
