Write To Sardis: You Are Alive In Name Only. Remember What You Received. Repent

“And to the angel of the church in Sardis, write— These things says the One having the seven Spirits[a] of God and the seven stars. I know your works: that you have a name[b] that you are alive[c], and you are dead. Be[d] keeping-watch, and establish[e] the remaining things which were-about-to die, for I have not found your works fulfilled[f] in the sight of My God. Therefore be remembering how you have received and you heard, and be keeping it, and repent. Therefore if you do not keep-watch, I will come like a thief. And you will never know at what hour I will come upon you. But you have a few names[g] in Sardis who did not stain their garments. And they will walk with Me in white garments, because they are worthy. The one overcoming will in-this-manner clothe himself in white garments. And I will never[h] wipe-out[i] his name from the book of life. And I will confess[j] his name before My Father and before His angels. Let the one having an ear hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

Write To Philadelphia: You Have Kept My Word. I Am Giving You an Opened Door

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia, write— These things says the Holy One, the True One, the One having the key[k] of David, the One opening and no one will shut, and shutting and no one opens. I know your works[l]. Behold— I have given before you an opened door[m] (which, no one is able to shut it). Because[n] you have a little[o] power[p], and you kept My word, and you did not deny My name, behold— I am giving some[q] from the synagogue of Satan, the ones saying that they are Jews (and they are not), but they are lying. Behold— I will make them so that they will come and worship[r] before your feet, and they may know that I loved you. 10 Because you kept the word of My[s] endurance, I also will keep[t] you from[u] the hour of testing, the hour going-to come upon the whole world to test the ones dwelling upon the earth[v]. 11 I am coming quickly. Be holding-on-to what you have in order that no one may take your crown. 12 The one overcoming— I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never go outside again. And I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God— the new Jerusalem, the one coming down out of heaven from My God— and My new name. 13 Let the one having an ear hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

Write To Laodicea: You Are Lukewarm. Get What You Need From Me. Repent

14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea, write— These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning[w] of the creation of God. 15 I know your works: that you are neither cold nor hot. O-that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am about-to spew you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say that “I am a rich one, and I have become-rich, and I have a need for nothing”, and you do not know that you are the one wretched and pitiable and poor and blind and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold having been refined by fire in order that you may become-rich, and white garments in order that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed, and eye-salve to rub-in your eyes in order that you may see. 19 I rebuke and discipline[x] all whom I love. Therefore be zealous, and repent. 20 Behold— I stand at the door. And I am knocking. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I also[y] will come-in to him. And I will have-dinner with him, and he with Me. 21 The one overcoming— I will give him authority to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 Let the one having an ear hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches”.

20 ’Yo estoy a tu puerta, y llamo;
si oyes mi voz y me abres,

Footnotes

  1. Revelation 3:1 Or messenger; also in verses 7 and 14
  2. Revelation 3:1 That is, the sevenfold Spirit

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Message to Sardis

“To the angel of the church in (A)Sardis write:

He who has [a](B)the seven spirits of God and (C)the seven stars, says this: ‘(D)I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, and yet you are (E)dead. Be constantly alert, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. So (F)remember [b]what you have received and heard; and [c]keep it, and (G)repent. Then if you are not alert, (H)I will come (I)like a thief, and you will not know at (J)what hour I will come to you. But you have a few [d](K)people in (L)Sardis who have not (M)soiled their garments; and they will walk with Me (N)in white, for they are worthy. (O)The one who overcomes will be clothed the same way, in (P)white garments; and I will not (Q)erase his name from the book of life, and (R)I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. Behold, I [f]will make those of (AA)the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—I will make them (AB)come and bow down before your feet, and make them know that (AC)I have loved you. 10 Because you have (AD)kept (AE)My [g]word of perseverance, (AF)I also will keep you from the hour of the [h](AG)testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole [i](AH)world, to [j]test (AI)those who live on the earth. 11 (AJ)I am coming quickly; (AK)hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your (AL)crown. 12 (AM)The one who overcomes, I will make him a (AN)pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the (AO)name of My God, and (AP)the name of the city of My God, (AQ)the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My (AR)new name. 13 (AS)The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

Message to Laodicea

14 “To the angel of the church in (AT)Laodicea write:

(AU)The Amen, (AV)the faithful and true Witness, (AW)the [k]Origin of the creation of God, says this:

15 (AX)I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; (AY)I wish that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, “(AZ)I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have no need of anything,” and you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked, 18 I advise you to (BA)buy from Me (BB)gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and (BC)white garments so that you may clothe yourself and (BD)the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to apply to your eyes so that you may see. 19 (BE)Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and (BF)repent. 20 Behold, I stand (BG)at the door and (BH)knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, (BI)I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. 21 (BJ)The one who overcomes, I will grant to him (BK)to sit with Me on My throne, as (BL)I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. 22 (BM)The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”
