El río de la vida y el árbol de la vida
22 Y me mostró(A) un río(B) de agua de vida(C), resplandeciente como cristal(D), que salía del trono de Dios y del Cordero, 2 en medio de la calle de la ciudad[a](E). Y a cada lado[b](F) del río estaba el árbol de la vida(G), que produce doce clases de[c] fruto, dando su fruto cada mes; y las hojas del árbol(H) eran para sanidad de las naciones. 3 Y ya no habrá más maldición(I); y el trono de Dios y del Cordero(J) estará allí[d], y sus siervos le servirán(K). 4 Ellos verán su rostro(L), y su nombre(M) estará en sus frentes(N). 5 Y ya no habrá más noche(O), y no tendrán[e] necesidad de luz de lámpara(P) ni de luz del sol, porque el Señor Dios los iluminará, y reinarán por los siglos de los siglos(Q).
La venida de Cristo
6 Y me dijo(R): Estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas(S); y el Señor, el Dios de los espíritus de los profetas(T), envió a su ángel para mostrar a sus siervos(U) las cosas que pronto han de suceder. 7 He aquí, yo vengo pronto(V). Bienaventurado el que guarda(W) las palabras de la profecía de este libro(X).
8 Yo, Juan(Y), soy el que oyó y vio estas cosas. Y cuando oí y vi, me postré para adorar a los pies del ángel(Z) que me mostró estas cosas. 9 Y me dijo*(AA): No hagas eso[f]; yo soy consiervo tuyo y de tus hermanos los profetas(AB) y de los que guardan las palabras de este libro(AC). Adora a Dios.
10 También me dijo*: No selles(AD) las palabras de la profecía de este libro(AE), porque el tiempo está cerca(AF). 11 Que el injusto siga haciendo injusticias(AG), que el impuro[g] siga siendo impuro[h], que el justo siga practicando la justicia, y que el que es santo siga guardándose santo. 12 He aquí, yo vengo pronto(AH), y mi recompensa está conmigo(AI) para recompensar[i] a cada uno según sea su obra(AJ). 13 Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega(AK), el primero y el último(AL), el principio y el fin(AM). 14 Bienaventurados los que lavan sus vestiduras(AN) para tener derecho al árbol de la vida(AO) y para entrar(AP) por las puertas a la ciudad(AQ). 15 Afuera(AR) están los perros(AS), los hechiceros, los inmorales[j], los asesinos, los idólatras y todo el que ama y practica la mentira.
Testimonio final
16 Yo, Jesús(AT), he enviado a mi ángel(AU) a fin de daros testimonio de estas cosas para[k] las iglesias(AV). Yo soy la raíz(AW) y la descendencia de David(AX), el lucero resplandeciente de la mañana(AY).
Invitación final
17 Y el Espíritu(AZ) y la esposa(BA) dicen: Ven. Y el que oye, diga: Ven. Y el que tiene sed(BB), venga; y el que desea, que tome gratuitamente del agua de la vida(BC).
Advertencia final
18 Yo testifico a todos los que oyen las palabras de la profecía de este libro(BD): Si alguno añade(BE) a ellas, Dios traerá[l] sobre él las plagas(BF) que están escritas en este libro(BG); 19 y si alguno quita(BH) de las palabras del libro(BI) de esta profecía, Dios quitará su parte del árbol de la vida(BJ) y de la ciudad santa descritos[m] en este libro(BK).
Oración final
20 Él que testifica de estas cosas(BL) dice: Sí, vengo pronto(BM). Amén. Ven, Señor Jesús(BN).
21 La gracia del Señor Jesús sea con todos[n](BO). Amén.

22 Then the angel showed me the river(A) of the water of life,(B) as clear as crystal,(C) flowing(D) from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life,(E) bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.(F) 3 No longer will there be any curse.(G) The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.(H) 4 They will see his face,(I) and his name will be on their foreheads.(J) 5 There will be no more night.(K) They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light.(L) And they will reign for ever and ever.(M)
John and the Angel
6 The angel said to me,(N) “These words are trustworthy and true.(O) The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets,(P) sent his angel(Q) to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”
7 “Look, I am coming soon!(R) Blessed(S) is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”(T)
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things.(U) And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet(V) of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll.(W) Worship God!”(X)
10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up(Y) the words of the prophecy of this scroll,(Z) because the time is near.(AA) 11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”(AB)
Epilogue: Invitation and Warning
12 “Look, I am coming soon!(AC) My reward is with me,(AD) and I will give to each person according to what they have done.(AE) 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega,(AF) the First and the Last,(AG) the Beginning and the End.(AH)
14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes,(AI) that they may have the right to the tree of life(AJ) and may go through the gates(AK) into the city.(AL) 15 Outside(AM) are the dogs,(AN) those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 “I, Jesus,(AO) have sent my angel(AP) to give you[a] this testimony for the churches.(AQ) I am the Root(AR) and the Offspring of David,(AS) and the bright Morning Star.”(AT)
17 The Spirit(AU) and the bride(AV) say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.(AW)
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll:(AX) If anyone adds anything to them,(AY) God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.(AZ) 19 And if anyone takes words away(BA) from this scroll of prophecy,(BB) God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life(BC) and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
20 He who testifies to these things(BD) says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”(BE)
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.(BF)
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people.(BG) Amen.
