And I saw another messenger flying in mid-heaven, having good news age-during to proclaim to those dwelling upon the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people,

saying in a great voice, `Fear ye God, and give to Him glory, because come did the hour of His judgment, and bow ye before Him who did make the heaven, and the land, and sea, and fountains of waters.'

And another messenger did follow, saying, `Fall, fall, did Babylon, the great city, because of the wine of the wrath of her whoredom she hath given to all nations to drink.'

And a third messenger did follow them, saying in a great voice, `If any one the beast doth bow before, and his image, and doth receive a mark upon his forehead, or upon his hand,

10 he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, that hath been mingled unmixed in the cup of His anger, and he shall be tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy messengers, and before the Lamb,

11 and the smoke of their torment doth go up to ages of ages; and they have no rest day and night, who are bowing before the beast and his image, also if any doth receive the mark of his name.

12 Here is endurance of the saints: here [are] those keeping the commands of God, and the faith of Jesus.'

13 And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, `Write: Happy are the dead who in the Lord are dying from this time!' `Yes, (saith the Spirit,) That they may rest from their labours -- and their works do follow them!'

Vision of the Angel with the Gospel

And I saw another angel flying in (A)midheaven with (B)an eternal gospel to preach to (C)those who [a]live on the earth, and to (D)every nation, tribe, language, and people; and he said with a loud voice, “(E)Fear God and (F)give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who (G)made the heaven and the earth, and sea and (H)springs of waters.”

And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, “[b](I)Fallen, fallen is (J)Babylon the great, she who has (K)made all the nations drink of the (L)wine of the [c]passion of her sexual immorality.”

Doom for Worshipers of the Beast

Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone (M)worships the beast and his (N)image, and receives a (O)mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the (P)wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed [d]in full strength (Q)in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with (R)fire and [e]brimstone in the presence of the (S)holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the (T)smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; (U)they have no rest day and night, those who (V)worship the beast and his (W)image, and [f]whoever receives the (X)mark of his name.” 12 Here is (Y)the [g]perseverance of the [h]saints who (Z)keep the commandments of God and [i](AA)their faith in Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write: ‘(AB)Blessed are the dead who (AC)die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes,” (AD)says the Spirit, “so that they may (AE)rest from their labors, for their (AF)deeds follow with them.”

The Three Angels

Then I saw another angel flying in midair,(A) and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth(B)—to every nation, tribe, language and people.(C) He said in a loud voice, “Fear God(D) and give him glory,(E) because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made(F) the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”(G)

A second angel followed and said, “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’[a](H) which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”(I)

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast(J) and its image(K) and receives its mark on their forehead(L) or on their hand, 10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury,(M) which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath.(N) They will be tormented with burning sulfur(O) in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever.(P) There will be no rest day or night(Q) for those who worship the beast and its image,(R) or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”(S) 12 This calls for patient endurance(T) on the part of the people of God(U) who keep his commands(V) and remain faithful to Jesus.

13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord(W) from now on.”

“Yes,” says the Spirit,(X) “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
