2 Ko ia nei te pono o te kupu a te Atua, o te whakaaturanga hoki a Ihu Karaiti, ara o nga mea katoa i kite ai ia.
3 Ka hari te tangata e titiro ana i te pukapuka, me te hunga ano hoki e whakarongo ana ki nga kupu o te poropititanga, e pupuri ana hoki i nga mea kua oti te tuhituhi ki reira: kua tata hoki te taima.
4 Na Hoani ki nga hahi e whitu i Ahia: Kia tau ki a koutou te aroha noa me te rangimarie, he mea nana e ora nei ia, i mua ano ia, a kei te haere mai ano; he mea hoki na nga Wairua e whitu i mua i tona torona;
5 He mea ano na Ihu Karaiti, na te kaiwhakaatu pono, ko ia nei te putanga matamua o te hunga mate, te rangatira o nga kingi o te whenua. Ki a ia, i arohaina nei tatou e ia, i horoia ano hoki o tatou hara ki ona toto,
6 A meinga ana tatou e ia hei kingi, hei tohunga ki te Atua, ara ki tona Matua; waiho atu ki a ia te kororia me te kaha ake tonu atu. Amine.
7 Tenei ia te haere mai nei me nga kapua, e kite hoki i a ia nga kanohi katoa, me te hunga hoki i wero i a ia: ka aue ano hoki nga hapu katoa o te whenua ki a ia. Ae, Amine.
8 Ko ahau te Arepa, te Omeka, te timatanga, te whakamutunga, e ai ta te Ariki, e ora nei, i mua ano ia, a kei te haere mai ano, ko te Kaha Rawa nei ia.
9 Ko ahau tenei, ko Hoani, ko to koutou tuakana, kua uru tahi nei ki te tukinotanga, ki te rangatiratanga ano hoki, ki te manawanui kei roto i a Ihu, i te motu ahau e huaina nei ko Patamo, he mea hoki mo te kupu a te Atua, mo te whakaatu hoki i a I hu.
10 I te Wairua ahau i te ra o te Ariki, a ka rongo ahau i te reo nui i muri i ahau, me te mea no te tetere,
11 E mea ana, Tuhituhia ki te pukapuka tau e kite nei, tukua atu hoki ki nga hahi e whitu i Ahia; ki Epeha, ki hamurana, ki Perekamu, ki Taiataira, ki Harariha, ki Parerepia, ki Raorikia.
12 Na ka tahuri ake ahau kia kite i te reo i korero nei ki ahau. A, i taku tahuritanga ake, ka kite ahau i nga turanga rama koura e whitu;
13 A i waenganui o nga turanga rama ko tetahi e rite ana ki te Tama a te tangata, ko tona kakahu tatu noa ki nga waewae, he mea whitiki te uma ki te whitiki koura;
14 A ko tona matenga me nga makawe ma tonu, ano he wuuru ma, he hukarere; ko ona kanohi, ano he mura ahi;
15 A ko ona waewae rite tonu ki te parahi pai, ano e ka ana i roto i te oumu; ko tona reo, ano ko te tangi a nga wai maha.
16 E whitu hoki nga whetu i tona ringa matau: a i puta mai i tona mangai he hoari matarua, he mea koi: ko tona kanohi, ano kei te ra ina kaha te whiti mai.
17 A, no toku kitenga i a ia, hinga ana ahau ki ona waewae, ano he tangata kua mate. Na ka whakapangia mai e ia tona ringaringa matau ki ahau, ka mea ki ahau, Kaua e mataku; ko ahau te tuatahi, te whakamutunga:
18 Ko ahau te Mea Ora; i mate hoki ahau i mua, na, e ora nei a ake tonu atu, kei ahau ano nga ki o te mate raua ko te reinga.
19 Na reira tuhituhia nga mea kua kite nei koe, nga mea onaianei nei, me nga mea e puta mai a muri ake nei;

Prologue
1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave(A) him to show his servants what must soon take place.(B) He made it known by sending his angel(C) to his servant John,(D) 2 who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God(E) and the testimony of Jesus Christ.(F) 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it,(G) because the time is near.(H)
Greetings and Doxology
4 John,
To the seven churches(I) in the province of Asia:
Grace and peace to you(J) from him who is, and who was, and who is to come,(K) and from the seven spirits[a](L) before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness,(M) the firstborn from the dead,(N) and the ruler of the kings of the earth.(O)
To him who loves us(P) and has freed us from our sins by his blood,(Q) 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests(R) to serve his God and Father(S)—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.(T)
7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”[b](U)
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;(V)
and all peoples on earth “will mourn(W) because of him.”[c]
So shall it be! Amen.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,”(X) says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come,(Y) the Almighty.”(Z)
John’s Vision of Christ
9 I, John,(AA) your brother and companion in the suffering(AB) and kingdom(AC) and patient endurance(AD) that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God(AE) and the testimony of Jesus.(AF) 10 On the Lord’s Day(AG) I was in the Spirit,(AH) and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,(AI) 11 which said: “Write on a scroll what you see(AJ) and send it to the seven churches:(AK) to Ephesus,(AL) Smyrna,(AM) Pergamum,(AN) Thyatira,(AO) Sardis,(AP) Philadelphia(AQ) and Laodicea.”(AR)
12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,(AS) 13 and among the lampstands(AT) was someone like a son of man,[d](AU) dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet(AV) and with a golden sash around his chest.(AW) 14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.(AX) 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace,(AY) and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.(AZ) 16 In his right hand he held seven stars,(BA) and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword.(BB) His face was like the sun(BC) shining in all its brilliance.
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet(BD) as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me(BE) and said: “Do not be afraid.(BF) I am the First and the Last.(BG) 18 I am the Living One; I was dead,(BH) and now look, I am alive for ever and ever!(BI) And I hold the keys of death and Hades.(BJ)
19 “Write, therefore, what you have seen,(BK) what is now and what will take place later. 20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand(BL) and of the seven golden lampstands(BM) is this: The seven stars are the angels[e] of the seven churches,(BN) and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.(BO)

La revelación de Jesucristo
1 La revelación[a] de Jesucristo, que Dios(A) le dio, para mostrar a sus siervos(B) las cosas que deben suceder pronto(C); y la dio a conocer[b], enviándola por medio de su ángel(D) a su siervo Juan(E), 2 el cual dio testimonio de la palabra de Dios(F), y del testimonio de Jesucristo(G), y de todo lo que vio. 3 Bienaventurado el que lee y los que oyen las palabras de la profecía(H) y guardan las cosas que están escritas en ella, porque el tiempo está cerca(I).
Saludo a las siete iglesias
4 Juan(J), a las siete iglesias(K) que están en Asia(L): Gracia a vosotros y paz(M), de aquel(N) que es y que era y que ha de venir, y de los siete Espíritus que están delante de su trono(O), 5 y de Jesucristo, el testigo fiel(P), el primogénito de los muertos(Q) y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra(R). Al que nos ama(S) y nos libertó[c] de nuestros pecados con[d] su sangre, 6 e hizo de nosotros un reino(T) y sacerdotes(U) para su Dios y Padre[e](V), a Él sea la gloria y el dominio por los siglos de los siglos(W). Amén. 7 He aquí, viene con las nubes(X) y todo ojo le verá(Y), aun los que le traspasaron; y todas las tribus[f] de la tierra harán lamentación por Él(Z); sí. Amén.
8 Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega[g](AA) —dice el Señor Dios(AB)— el que es y que era y que ha de venir, el Todopoderoso(AC).
Visión de Cristo
9 Yo, Juan(AD), vuestro hermano(AE) y compañero(AF) en la tribulación, en el reino(AG) y en la perseverancia(AH) en Jesús, me encontraba en la isla llamada Patmos, a causa de la palabra de Dios y del testimonio de Jesús(AI). 10 Estaba yo en el Espíritu[h](AJ) en el día del Señor(AK), y oí detrás de mí una gran voz, como sonido de trompeta(AL), 11 que decía[i]: Escribe en un libro[j](AM) lo que ves, y envíalo a las siete iglesias(AN): a Efeso(AO), Esmirna(AP), Pérgamo(AQ), Tiatira(AR), Sardis(AS), Filadelfia(AT) y Laodicea(AU). 12 Y me volví para ver de quién era la voz que hablaba conmigo. Y al volverme, vi siete candelabros de oro(AV); 13 y en medio de los candelabros(AW), vi a uno semejante al Hijo del Hombre[k](AX), vestido con una túnica que le llegaba hasta los pies(AY) y ceñido por el pecho con un cinto de oro(AZ). 14 Su cabeza y sus cabellos eran blancos como la blanca lana(BA), como la nieve; sus ojos eran como llama de fuego(BB); 15 sus pies semejantes al bronce bruñido(BC) cuando se le ha hecho refulgir en el horno, y su voz como el ruido de muchas aguas(BD). 16 En su mano derecha tenía siete estrellas(BE), y de su boca salía una aguda espada de dos filos(BF); su rostro(BG) era como el sol cuando brilla con toda su fuerza(BH). 17 Cuando le vi, caí como muerto a sus pies(BI). Y Él puso su mano derecha sobre mí(BJ), diciendo: No temas(BK), yo soy el primero y el último(BL), 18 y el que vive(BM), y estuve muerto(BN); y he aquí, estoy vivo por los siglos de los siglos, y tengo las llaves de la muerte y del Hades[l](BO). 19 Escribe, pues(BP), las cosas que has visto, y las que son(BQ), y las que han de suceder después de estas(BR). 20 En cuanto al misterio(BS) de las siete estrellas(BT) que viste en mi mano derecha y de los siete candelabros de oro(BU): las siete estrellas(BV) son los ángeles[m] de las siete iglesias(BW), y los siete candelabros(BX) son las siete iglesias.
