Revelation 1:12-18
Christian Standard Bible
12 Then I turned to see whose voice(A) it was that spoke to me. When I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,(B) 13 and among the lampstands was one like the Son of Man,[a](C) dressed in a robe(D) and with a golden sash wrapped around his chest.(E) 14 The hair of his head was white as wool—white as snow(F)—and his eyes like a fiery flame.(G) 15 His feet were like fine bronze as it is fired in a furnace,(H) and his voice like the sound of cascading[b] waters.(I) 16 He had seven stars in his right hand; a sharp double-edged sword came from his mouth,(J) and his face was shining like the sun at full strength.(K)
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man.(L) He laid his right hand on me and said, “Don’t be afraid. I am the First and the Last,(M) 18 and the Living One.(N) I was dead, but look—I am alive forever and ever,(O) and I hold the keys(P) of death and Hades.

Revelation 4:2-11
Christian Standard Bible
2 Immediately I was in the Spirit,(A) and there was a throne in heaven(B) and someone was seated on it. 3 The one seated[a] there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian stone.(C) A rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald surrounded the throne.(D)
4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones sat twenty-four elders(E) dressed in white clothes,(F) with golden crowns on their heads.(G)
5 Flashes of lightning and rumblings and peals of thunder came from the throne.(H) Seven fiery torches were burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.(I) 6 Something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal, was also before the throne.(J)
Four living creatures covered with eyes in front and in back were around the throne on each side. 7 The first living creature was like a lion; the second living creature was like an ox; the third living creature had a face like a man; and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.(K) 8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings;(L) they were covered with eyes around and inside. Day and night(M) they never stop,[b] saying,
Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God, the Almighty,
who was, who is, and who is to come.(N)
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the one seated on the throne, the one who lives forever and ever,(O) 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before the one seated on the throne(P) and worship the one who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne and say,
11 Our Lord and God,[c]
you are worthy(Q) to receive
glory and honor and power,(R)
because you have created all things,(S)
and by your will
they exist and were created.

Celebration in Heaven
19 After this I heard something like the loud voice of a vast multitude(A) in heaven, saying,
Hallelujah!(B)
Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God,(C)
2 because his judgments are true[a] and righteous,(D)
because he has judged the notorious prostitute(E)
who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality;
and he has avenged the blood of his servants
that was on her hands.(F)
3 A second time they said,
Hallelujah!
Her smoke ascends forever and ever!(G)
4 Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God,(H) who is seated on the throne, saying,
Amen! Hallelujah!(I)
5 A voice came from the throne, saying,
Praise our God,
all his servants, and the ones who fear him,
both small and great!(J)
6 Then I heard something like the voice of a vast multitude, like the sound of cascading waters,(K) and like the rumbling of loud thunder, saying,
Hallelujah, because our Lord God, the Almighty,
reigns!(L)
7 Let us be glad, rejoice, and give him glory,(M)
because the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has prepared herself.(N)
8 She was given fine linen to wear, bright and pure.(O)
For the fine linen represents the righteous acts of the saints.(P)
9 Then he[b] said to me,(Q) “Write: Blessed are those invited to the marriage feast(R) of the Lamb!” He also said to me, “These words of God are true.”(S) 10 Then I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “Don’t do that!(T) I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and sisters who hold firmly to the testimony of Jesus.(U) Worship God, because the testimony of Jesus is the spirit[c] of prophecy.”
The Rider on a White Horse
11 Then I saw heaven opened,(V) and there was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True,(W) and with justice he judges and makes war.(X) 12 His eyes were like a fiery flame,(Y) and many crowns[d] were on his head.(Z) He had a name written that no one knows except himself.(AA) 13 He wore a robe dipped in blood,(AB) and his name is called the Word of God.(AC) 14 The armies that were in heaven followed him on white horses, wearing pure white linen. 15 A sharp[e] sword(AD) came from his mouth, so that he might strike the nations with it.(AE) He will rule[f] them with an iron rod.(AF) He will also trample the winepress of the fierce anger of God,(AG) the Almighty. 16 And he has a name written on his robe and on his thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.(AH)
