5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do (A)the works you did at first. If not, (B)I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. 6 Yet this you have: you hate the works of (C)the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 (D)He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. (E)To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of (F)the tree of life, which is in (G)the paradise of God.’

8 “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: ‘The words of (H)the first and the last, (I)who died and came to life.

5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent(A) and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand(B) from its place. 6 But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans,(C) which I also hate.
7 Whoever has ears, let them hear(D) what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious,(E) I will give the right to eat from the tree of life,(F) which is in the paradise(G) of God.
