Revelation 21:3-7

English Standard Version

³And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, ^(A)the dwelling place^[a] of God is with man. He will ^(B)dwell with them, and they will be his people,^[b] and God himself will be with them as their God.^[c] ⁴^(C)He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and ^(D)death shall be no more, ^(E)neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

⁵And ^(F)he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I ^(G)am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for ^(H)these words are trustworthy and true.” ⁶And he said to me, ^(I)“It is done! ^(J)I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. ^(K)To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. ⁷^(L)The one who conquers will have this heritage, and ^(M)I will be his God and ^(N)he will be my son.

Revelation 21:3-7

New International Version

³And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.^(A) They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.^(B) ⁴‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.^(C) There will be no more death’^[a]^(D) or mourning or crying or pain,^(E) for the old order of things has passed away.”^(F)

⁵He who was seated on the throne^(G) said, “I am making everything new!”^(H) Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”^(I)

⁶He said to me: “It is done.^(J) I am the Alpha and the Omega,^(K) the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost^(L) from the spring of the water of life.^(M) ⁷Those who are victorious^(N) will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.^(O)
