¹⁴ The divisions of the camp of Judah went first, under their standard.^(A) Nahshon son of Amminadab^(B) was in command. ¹⁵ Nethanel son of Zuar was over the division of the tribe^(C) of Issachar,^{(D) 16} and Eliab son of Helon^(E) was over the division of the tribe of Zebulun.^{(F) 17} Then the tabernacle was taken down, and the Gershonites and Merarites, who carried it, set out.^(G)

¹⁸ The divisions of the camp of Reuben^(H) went next, under their standard.^(I) Elizur son of Shedeur^(J) was in command. ¹⁹ Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai was over the division of the tribe of Simeon,^{(K) 20} and Eliasaph son of Deuel was over the division of the tribe of Gad.^{(L) 21} Then the Kohathites^(M) set out, carrying the holy things.^(N) The tabernacle was to be set up before they arrived.^(O)

²² The divisions of the camp of Ephraim^(P) went next, under their standard. Elishama son of Ammihud^(Q) was in command. ²³ Gamaliel son of Pedahzur was over the division of the tribe of Manasseh,^{(R) 24} and Abidan son of Gideoni was over the division of the tribe of Benjamin.^(S)

²⁵ Finally, as the rear guard^(T) for all the units, the divisions of the camp of Dan set out under their standard. Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai^(U) was in command. ²⁶ Pagiel son of Okran was over the division of the tribe of Asher,^{(V) 27} and Ahira son of Enan was over the division of the tribe of Naphtali.^(W)

⁴ One man from each tribe,^(A) each of them the head of his family,^(B) is to help you.^{(C) 5} These are the names^(D) of the men who are to assist you:

2 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom^(A) as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.^{[a] 2} For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.^(B)
