Epilogue: Invitation and Warning

¹² “Look, I am coming soon!^(A) My reward is with me,^(B) and I will give to each person according to what they have done.^(C)

²⁷ For the Son of Man^(A) is going to come^(B) in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.^(C)

⁷ “Look, I am coming soon!^(A) Blessed^(B) is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”^(C)

⁸ The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.^(A)

¹⁴ If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.^(A)

⁶ God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”^{[a](A) 7} To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor^(B) and immortality,^(C) he will give eternal life.^{(D) 8} But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil,^(E) there will be wrath and anger.^{(F) 9} There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil:^(G) first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;^{(H) 10} but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.^{(I) 11} For God does not show favoritism.^(J)

¹² So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.^(A)
