¹⁰ Then ^(A)I fell down at his feet to worship him, ^(B)but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to ^(C)the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

⁸ I, ^(A)John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, ^(B)I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, ^9 (C)but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those ^(D)who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

²⁵ When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and ^(A)fell down at his feet and ^(B)worshiped him. ²⁶ But Peter lifted him up, saying, ^(C)“Stand up; I too am a man.”

^39 (A)You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and ^(B)it is they that bear witness about me,

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits ^(A)sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to ^(B)inherit salvation?

¹⁰ the twenty-four elders ^(A)fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast ^(B)their crowns before the throne, saying,

¹⁷ Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off ^(A)to make war on the rest of ^(B)her offspring, ^(C)on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to ^(D)the testimony of Jesus. And he stood^[a] on the sand of the sea.

¹¹ And ^(A)they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for ^(B)they loved not their lives ^(C)even unto death.

¹⁹ And ^(A)we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention ^(B)as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until ^(C)the day ^(D)dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, ²⁰ knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. ²¹ For ^(E)no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God ^(F)as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
