The Seventh Bowl

¹⁷ The seventh angel poured out his bowl into ^(A)the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, ^(B)“It is done!”

⁶ And he said to me, ^(A)“It is done! ^(B)I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. ^(C)To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.

³⁰ When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, ^(A)“It is finished,” and he bowed his head and ^(B)gave up his spirit.

^2 (A)in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following ^(B)the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in ^(C)the sons of disobedience—

⁵ After this I looked, and ^(A)the sanctuary of ^(B)the tent^[a] of witness in heaven was opened, ⁶ and out of the sanctuary came ^(C)the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright ^(D)linen, ^(E)with golden sashes around their chests.

⁶ and swore by ^(A)him who lives forever and ever, ^(B)who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there would be no more delay, ⁷ but that ^(C)in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, ^(D)just as he announced to his servants the prophets.

¹² For ^(A)we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against ^(B)the rulers, against the authorities, against ^(C)the cosmic powers over ^(D)this present darkness, against ^(E)the spiritual forces of evil ^(F)in the heavenly places.

⁷ And I heard ^(A)the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; ^(B)he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and ^(C)swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a ^(D)time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of ^(E)the power of ^(F)the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished. ⁸ I heard, ^(G)but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?” ⁹ He said, ^(H)“Go your way, Daniel, ^(I)for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. ^10 (J)Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but ^(K)the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, ^(L)but those who are wise shall understand. ¹¹ And from the time that ^(M)the regular burnt offering is taken away and ^(N)the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days. ^12 (O)Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days. ^13 (P)But go your way till the end. ^(Q)And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at ^(R)the end of the days.”

The Thousand Years

20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, ^(A)holding in his hand the key to ^(B)the bottomless pit^[a] and a great chain. ² And he seized ^(C)the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and ^(D)bound him for a thousand years, ³ and threw him into ^(E)the pit, and shut it and ^(F)sealed it over him, so that ^(G)he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.
