¹⁵ Then another angel came out of the temple^(A) and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle^(B) and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest^(C) of the earth is ripe.”

³⁹ and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest^(A) is the end of the age,^(B) and the harvesters are angels.^(C)

³³ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:

¹⁸ Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar^(A) and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Take your sharp sickle^(B) and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe.”

²⁹ As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”^(A)

³⁰ Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”^(A)

¹⁷ The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air,^(A) and out of the temple^(B) came a loud voice^(C) from the throne, saying, “It is done!”^(D)

¹⁶ in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles^(A) so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit.^(B) The wrath of God has come upon them at last.^[a]
