Psalm 96(A)
1 Sing to the Lord(B) a new song;(C)
sing to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Sing to the Lord, praise his name;(D)
proclaim his salvation(E) day after day.
3 Declare his glory(F) among the nations,
his marvelous deeds(G) among all peoples.
4 For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;(H)
he is to be feared(I) above all gods.(J)
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols,(K)
but the Lord made the heavens.(L)
6 Splendor and majesty(M) are before him;
strength and glory(N) are in his sanctuary.
7 Ascribe to the Lord,(O) all you families of nations,(P)
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
8 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
bring an offering(Q) and come into his courts.(R)
9 Worship the Lord(S) in the splendor of his[a] holiness;(T)
tremble(U) before him, all the earth.(V)
10 Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.(W)”
The world is firmly established,(X) it cannot be moved;(Y)
he will judge(Z) the peoples with equity.(AA)
11 Let the heavens rejoice,(AB) let the earth be glad;(AC)
let the sea resound, and all that is in it.
12 Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them;
let all the trees of the forest(AD) sing for joy.(AE)
13 Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes,
he comes to judge(AF) the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness(AG)
and the peoples in his faithfulness.(AH)

Praise for God’s Glory
96 Sing to the Lord a new song.
Sing to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Sing to the Lord and praise his name.
Every day tell how he saves us.
3 Tell the nations of his glory.
Tell all peoples the miracles he does.
4 The Lord is great; he should be praised.
He should be honored more than all the gods.
5 All the gods of the nations are only idols.
But the Lord made the skies.
6 The Lord has glory and majesty.
He has power and beauty in his Temple.
7 Praise the Lord, all nations on earth.
Praise the Lord’s glory and power.
8 Praise the glory of the Lord’s name.
Bring an offering and come into his Temple courtyards.
9 Worship the Lord because he is holy.
The whole earth should tremble before the Lord.
10 Tell the nations, “The Lord is king.”
The earth is set, and it cannot be moved.
He will judge the people fairly.
11 Let the skies rejoice and the earth be glad.
Let the sea and everything in it shout.
12 Let the fields and everything in them show their joy.
Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy.
13 They will sing before the Lord because he is coming.
He is coming to judge the world.
He will judge the world with fairness
and the nations with truth.

Que todo el mundo cante al Señor
(1 Cr 16:23-33)
1 Canten al SEÑOR una nueva canción;
que todo el mundo cante al SEÑOR.
2 Canten al SEÑOR, bendigan su nombre;
anuncien todos los días las buenas noticias de que él nos da la victoria.
3 Cuenten entre las naciones acerca de su gloria;
cuéntenles a todos los pueblos las maravillas de Dios.
4 El SEÑOR es grande y digno de la máxima alabanza;
es más temible que todos los dioses.
5 Los dioses de otras naciones no son sino ídolos;
en cambio, el SEÑOR hizo el cielo.
6 Hay esplendor y majestad ante su presencia;
poder y belleza en su templo santo.
7 Familias de las naciones, alaben al SEÑOR;
den la gloria y el poder al SEÑOR.
8 Alaben el nombre del SEÑOR;
lleven ofrendas al templo.
9 Alaben al SEÑOR en su hermoso templo;
que toda la tierra tiemble delante de él.
10 Anuncien a las naciones: «¡El SEÑOR es Rey!»
Él estableció el mundo, no será removido.
El SEÑOR juzgará a los pueblos con imparcialidad.
11 Que el cielo se alegre;
que la tierra se ponga contenta;
que el mar y todo lo que hay en él griten de alegría;
12 que estén felices los campos y todo lo que crece en ellos;
que los árboles del bosque canten de alegría.
13 Que todo el mundo esté feliz
porque el SEÑOR viene a gobernar[a] al mundo.
Él gobernará al mundo con justicia
y a las naciones con verdad.
