An Invocation and a Doxology
To the Chief Musician. On [a]stringed instruments. A Psalm. A Song.
67 God be merciful to us and bless us,
And (A)cause His face to shine upon us, Selah
2 That (B)Your way may be known on earth,
(C)Your salvation among all nations.
3 Let the peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.
4 Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy!
For (D)You shall judge the people righteously,
And govern the nations on earth. Selah
5 Let the peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.
6 (E)Then the earth shall [b]yield her increase;
God, our own God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.

2 God, heb medelijden met ons en zegen ons.
Wees alstublieft goed voor ons.
3 Dan zullen de mensen op aarde weten wat U doet.
Alle volken zullen weten dat U een goede God bent.
4 God, alle volken zullen U prijzen.
Alle volken zullen U samen prijzen.
5 Alle landen zullen blij zijn en juichen.
Want U heerst rechtvaardig.
U leidt de volken.
6 God, alle volken zullen U prijzen.
Alle volken zullen U samen prijzen.
7 De aarde gaf ons weer een rijke oogst.
U, onze God, bent goed voor ons.
8 U zal goed voor ons zijn.
Daardoor zullen alle mensen op aarde
diep ontzag voor U hebben.

67 To the Overseer, with stringed instruments. -- A Psalm, a Song. God doth favour us and bless us, Doth cause His face to shine with us. Selah.
2 For the knowledge in earth of Thy way, among all nations of Thy salvation.
3 Praise Thee do peoples, O God, Praise Thee do peoples, all of them.
4 Rejoice and sing do nations, For Thou judgest peoples uprightly, And peoples on earth comfortest. Selah.
5 Confess Thee do peoples, O God, Confess Thee do peoples -- all of them.
6 Earth hath given her increase, God doth bless us -- our God,
7 God doth bless us, and all ends of earth fear Him!
