Psalm 33
World English Bible
33 Rejoice in Yahweh, you righteous!
Praise is fitting for the upright.
2 Give thanks to Yahweh with the lyre.
Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings.
3 Sing to him a new song.
Play skillfully with a shout of joy!
4 For Yahweh’s word is right.
All his work is done in faithfulness.
5 He loves righteousness and justice.
The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh.
6 By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made:
all their army by the breath of his mouth.
7 He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap.
He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
8 Let all the earth fear Yahweh.
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 For he spoke, and it was done.
He commanded, and it stood firm.
10 Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing.
He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
11 The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever,
the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh,
the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
13 Yahweh looks from heaven.
He sees all the sons of men.
14 From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,
15 he who fashions all of their hearts;
and he considers all of their works.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an army.
A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
17 A horse is a vain thing for safety,
neither does he deliver any by his great power.
18 Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his loving kindness,
19 to deliver their soul from death,
to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul has waited for Yahweh.
He is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart rejoices in him,
because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh,
since we have hoped in you.

Ang Pulong Sang Dios
Kanta sa Pagdayaw
33 Kamo nga mga matarong,
maghinugyaw kamo sa kalipay
tungod sa ginhimo sang Ginoo sa inyo.
Kamo nga nagakabuhi sing husto,
nagakabagay nga dayawon ninyo siya!
2 Dayawa ninyo ang Ginoo paagi sa arpa.
Tukari ninyo ang Ginoo sang iban pa nga mga instrumento nga may mga kuwerdas.
3 Kantahi ninyo siya sang bag-o nga kanta;
tukari ninyo siya sing maayo,
kag maghinugyaw kamo sa kalipay.
4 Kay ang pulong sang Ginoo husto,
kag masaligan ang tanan niya nga ginahimo.
5 Naluyag ang Ginoo maghimo sang[a] matarong kag husto.
Makita sa bug-os nga kalibutan ang iya gugma.
6 Paagi sa pulong sang Ginoo,
nahimo ang kalangitan: ang adlaw, ang bulan, kag ang mga bituon.
7 Gintingob niya ang tubig sang dagat nga daw sa ginsulod sa botelya[b] ukon ginbutang sa bodega.
8 Ang tanan nga tawo sa kalibutan dapat magtahod sa Ginoo.
9 Kay sang paghambal lang niya, natuga ang kalibutan.
Nagmando lang siya kag nahimo ang tanan.
10 Ginaguba sang Ginoo ang mga plano sang mga nasyon.
Wala niya ginatuguti nga madayon ang ila mga katuyuan.
11 Pero ang iya mga plano nagapadayon sa wala sing katapusan;
ang iya mga katuyuan nagapabilin hasta san-o.
12 Bulahan ang nasyon nga ang iya Dios amo ang Ginoo.
Bulahan ang katawhan nga ginpili sang Ginoo nga mangin iya.
13 Ginatulok sang Ginoo sa langit ang tanan nga tawo.
14 Didto sa iya ginapuy-an, ginatan-aw niya ang tanan nga nagapuyo sa kalibutan.
15 Siya ang naghatag sang hunahuna sa tanan nga tawo,
kag nahibaluan niya ang tanan nila nga ginahimo.
16 Ang isa ka hari wala nagadaog sa inaway tungod lang sang iya madamo nga mga soldado.
Ang isa ka soldado wala nagakaluwas sa inaway tungod lang sang iya puwerte nga kusog.
17 Ang mga kabayo indi masaligan nga makapadaog sa inaway.
Ang ila puwerte nga kusog indi makaluwas.
18 Nagabantay ang Ginoo sa mga nagatahod sa iya,
nga nagasalig sa iya gugma
19 nga magaluwas sa ila sa kamatayon kag magatipig sang ila kabuhi sa tion sang gutom.
20 Nagahulat kita nga may pagsalig sa Ginoo.
Siya ang nagabulig kag nagaprotektar sa aton.[c]
21 Nagakalipay kita tungod sa iya
kay nagasalig kita sa iya, ang balaan nga Dios.[d]
22 Ginoo, kabay pa nga ang imo gugma magpabilin sa amon,
subong nga nagasalig kami sa imo.

33 Rejoice (A)in the Lord, O you righteous!
For praise from the upright is beautiful.
2 Praise the Lord with the harp;
[a]Make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings.
3 Sing to Him a new song;
Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
4 For the word of the Lord is right,
And all His work is done in truth.
5 He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
6 (B)By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And all the (C)host of them (D)by the breath of His mouth.
7 (E)He gathers the waters of the sea together [b]as a heap;
He lays up the deep in storehouses.
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord;
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
9 For (F)He spoke, and it was done;
He commanded, and it stood fast.
10 (G)The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect.
11 (H)The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
The plans of His heart to all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has (I)chosen as His own inheritance.
13 (J)The Lord looks from heaven;
He sees all the sons of men.
14 From the place of His dwelling He looks
On all the inhabitants of the earth;
15 He fashions their hearts individually;
(K)He [c]considers all their works.
16 (L)No king is saved by the multitude of an army;
A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
17 (M)A horse is a [d]vain hope for safety;
Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.
18 (N)Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy,
19 To deliver their soul from death,
And (O)to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in Him,
Because we have trusted in His holy name.
22 Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You.
